    LINIGIL is a popular chiken dish from the Maguindanaon Culture in the Bangsamoro.
    The #Talayanen people are said to be the best cooks for Linigil since the recipe originated from their place. Talayanen are people of then Talayan (now includes those with Talayanen roots from Guindulungan, Datu Anggal & Talitay plus other nearby places).
    The chicken is cooked in fresh coconut milk with #Palapa as the key seasoning and turmeric, onions, lemon grass, ginger and garlic.
    Palapa is made of grated coconut, sundried, fried with chilies, onions, garlic and other herbs then pounded.
    Linigil is more likely being served during #Kanduli, the thanksgiving ceremony of the Maguindanaon people.
    When you visit Talayanen communities in Maguindanao, try asking for Linigil and taste the difference.
