The U.S should pull all aid from South Africa as well as place sanctions / block all trade. The U.S currently provides about $600 million annually which does not include the medical and food support provided. In a decade or or less the country will fail and we should let them all starve. Thankfully, Russia and Australia are offering refuge to many of the white farmers and the U.S should do the same.

I worked for a wonderful black family who has spent 3 generations building a business that originated in the U.K. If these same guidelines are used , the black family’s who live in the western world would have their business , homes , and livelihood stripped away by law and redistributed back to whites.

Redistribution will gut any established lines of trade. I think a good balence of whites , blacks , and many races is needed for a balanced economy. The topic of land in South Africa is misunderstood. It is very serious and it will be resolved.
In this process, many of us farmers condone actions that are violating rights of any party and we understand the importance of correcting mistakes from the past.
This process is very sensitive and unfortunately does not leave any group 100% happy. It takes a lot of compromises and team work.
Black politicians from the U,S, Congressional Black Caucus were in south africa awhile back and why was this trip that was probably paid for by the American tax payer even arranged? This tells me that given the chance these American Black Congressional caucus members would love to implement laws that give black Americans property taken away from whites that worked hard for the land they own. as they are attempting in S.A. Some black Presidential 2020 candidates are already trying to get laws passed for reparations to be paid to blacks for acts committed 150 + years ago in this country.

This platform is trebly selective about the South African representation in this interview. If they really wanted an accurate perspective from a South African leader they would do so, this particular individual does not represent the South African community’s interests accurately at all. The bias is clear, land was stolen (this is a fact the white community around the world has recognised and admitted to), land of which is still the lineage of the original colonialists) how then do we expect the African community to redress the fact that said stolen land is not being used to benefit the large majority of the people of whom it was taken, is now and has been in the ownership of generations of white beneficiaries that make no effort themselves to contribute to the progression of the African community, of whom make up 80% of the population. The white community consists of less than 10% of the country’s population(Stats SA), and still own over 80% of the businesses in the country.
Zimbabwe took a dictatorial approach to the land reform process, South Africa is legally and legitimately taking democratic steps to redress land ownership for the benefit of all South Africans, not just a select few (the white community happen to be included as beneficiaries in this process, however no longer at the expense of any other demographic in the country). The constitution has not even been amended as of yet, the South African government is being completely transparent about this process and has directly urged her citizens to be apart of deliberations as opposed to doing what the white community has alleged of it being against citizens will.
I urge the media to have accurate South African representation and to present all facts and perspectives in their apparent search for truth and not sentiment.
