- Come along with us to Royal Caribbean's newly renovated Perfect Day at CocoCay! In this full island tour we we guide you around the island and show you the Chill side with Chill beach, Chill grill, beach and snorkeling areas, the Chill Island Cabanas, rental areas and more!
We then zip on over to the Thrill side and the thrill water park with its numerous slides on Daredevil's tower (including Daredevil's Peak, Dueling Demons, Manta Racers, Screeching Serpent and the Green Mamba) the wave pool, adventure pool, Splash Summit, and the Oasis Lagoon!!
We also highlight Captain Jill's Galleon, Captain Jack's Grill, Splashaway Bay, Skipper's Grill and all of the food options on the island. We also show some of the shopping options across the island as well as showing you the zip-lining activities and the Up, Up and Away hot air balloon.
We tour the beaches available on the island including Chill Beach, Lagoon Beach and South beach and highlight the cabanas and Rental options across the island.

we are going on cruise for first time in May, love your video, is it safe to leave beach bag with sunscreen at your lounger, I guess you utilize lockers for phone,. do you wear the languard with ships card while on the island or leave in locker and get when you shop, et.
We left our beach bag with towels, sunscreen and stuff as well as our snorkel gear bag on the lounger throughout the day and it was fine. Anything valuable (camera equipment, cell phones, etc) we put in one of the free lockers. The lockers are not that big to fit a bunch of stuff or large items. No one messed with any of our stuff at all. We kept our Seapass cards on us for the day especially to have it handy for shopping or drinks! As one wise woman once said “We didn’t get that drink package for nothing!” It is also your way back on the the ship so it is one of the main things that you don’t want lost or stolen!! July 29, Actually SouthBeach with a swim out bar, was fabulous. Very Adult, no children and lots of umbrellas. The ParaSail and Glassbottom Boats tours are close by. FREE, FREE, FREE.... BEST DAY EVER.
Free is always the best price!! South beach and Chill Beach are both awesome!!
You guys did a wonderful tour of the water park! am not sure if I can handle all the walking around the park as I do use a scooter if the walk is too long. From what I see they have no area to use a scooter to get around.
Thanks! Most of the walkways on the island are either concrete or pavers however some areas have just sand and I did see someone in a scooter get stuck in the sand. I would say that 80-90% of the island is accessible by scooter with the exception of the beach areas where they do have non-motorized beach wheelchairs to allow mobility challenged people access the beach and the water.

great video!! looks like you brought along a drone...did RC have any issues with you flying it on the island?
Thanks! I had mine and nobody gave me any trouble and just flew it relatively quick and packed it up. I didn’t hide it or hide when flying it. I didn’t buzz it through the island or even remotely near people. I stayed safe and I stayed off the island for the most part or was at a significant altitude to not have any issues. There was a big drone (octocopter) flying over the main parts of the island fairly low to taking video through the day so I stayed a far distance away from that area for sure.
There’s something so backwards about that island. It was already a naturally beautiful piece of paradise, and yet RC had to take it further and build a theme park on it. And everyone’s getting sucked into it. Aren’t people coming to the Bahamas to see the beautiful scenery and pristine beaches/waters? When you walked around to that other beach, NOBODY was on it. I guess everyone got sucked into paying hundreds of dollars for the water park, pools, zip lines etc, even tho they have those things back on the ship 🤦♀️

Was their any coke freestyle machines on the chill side of the beach?
the snorkel rental is for the whole set? you said to purchase own vest, but what about the goggle and fin?
The rental is for the whole set! What I was saying was that if you bring your own fins and mask you need to also buy and bring your own snorkel vest since they require it. Hope this clears it up!!

Do you have to pay to use the wave pool and zip line
Yes, both of them are extra. The zip line has its own ticket to purchase and the wave pool is part of the Thrill Waterpark pass.
Is the water in the pools totally cold? I say it for my daughters who are very small yet
Not at all! The water in all the pools was beautiful! Probably in the 80’s F (~27-28C) in early May when we were there. The ocean water was a bit cooler maybe high 70’s (24-25C). This will of course vary with when you visit the island. Enjoy your cruise!
