It's time I ever saw her it was a tear or so ago and it was an old losh video and I was like this girl sounds spoiled. Didnt give her a chance but then I had youtube going while I was doing my nails so I couldnt switch off and one of her videos came on with momma maples and I was like oh wow I was so wrong they are just the kindest ppl and I've been hooked since .
For the furry grey blanket/comforter that has a few rips on the inside material, maybe you could try to make a few dog beds out of it for Chip? Then you could have some for different rooms in the house that you go to that he will be in with you. They would be nice and warm for him to lay in too.

Yes I use grey sheets (most of my room is white, grey, black). White sheets stain easy, and black shows every hair and dust particle, so grey is the way to go if you need white-black. I do look at thread count, and buy the one with the most thread count for your buck that also feels soft. Also, once sleeping with bamboo sheets, I couldn’t go back, just make sure they’re ethically sourced!💖

Absolutely Mama Maples won this. Her bed look warm, cute and comfy. I loved the heated blankets at the foot in case you have a cold night.
When my mom and I were living in low income housing after fled a toxic home, we didn't have anything. donations from the assistance programs helped. Having a bed and bedding for us was a blessing when we had nothing. So I really appreciate that Mia donates everything to shelters as it means everything to someone who has little to nothing get started over again.

I actually love grey sheets! I have a dark grey flannel set and a lighter dove grey cotton set and I think it can be really cosy or really fresh with like a light-mid green or white. Grey looks very comfy to me :)

@@kendra6007 I can assure you it wasn't from the sheets at Amazon, you can pick up bed bugs from anywhere, literally if you put your purse on the floor of a carpeted restaurant and someone with bed bugs sat near you can give you bedbugs
@@kendra6007 what can't give you bedbugs is still wrapped in plastic sheets because those won't have them, bedbugs need to have someone to feast on to survive and that doesn't start in a brand new product sitting in a hot warehouse, perhaps from used sheets but not new

I work at a hotel so when she mentioned that, I was like yep. Our housekeepers make up to 80 beds a day. I'm not housekeeping but I've done it and it's exhausting especially when you're doing it alone, as a team saves time and energy for sure. I would have napped too if I were them 😂

Both beds looked really nice, but i vote for Mama Maples' bed layout/design. It was colorful without being In-Your-Face about it, and it looked inviting and comfy. I liked how the pieces were placed, especially the blankets at the end of the bed. Mama Maples laugh tho... always be making me laugh

A tip I learned from a hotel TikTok is that if you want to always put the fitted sheet on correctly every time facing the top of the bed from the foot of it, the tag will always be in the bottom left corner.
Mia us such a delightful person making it such a pleasure to watch. And speaking as someone who loves coming home to a package, I love these videos.
All I can think about when i see these videos is how wonderful it is that these things will be donated. It just makes me so happy that Mia is making entertainment and also doing amazing things for her community.

Grey bedding is awesome when you have accent colors! I love redecorating so when I change my colors, it's a lot easier to go out and get yellow throw pillows and vacuum pack the old blue ones, than going out and buying a new bedding set.i also have a Cal King bed, so there aren't many options in stores for my bed size and I hate buying things on line because you don't know what the textures are, the color in person, etc.

My best guess for why so many heated blankets is because they were probably a recall item, idk if its called that around the world but here in Australia is called a recall and it happens on electronic hot water bottles and heated blankets all the time. If something happens to even one customer, like a spark or even a fire, the whole batch of stock has to get pulled and they ask customers to return or dispose of the product with a refund or compensation. Just be wary of that from a safety point of view👍🏻

Yep, the tie- dye pillows really made mama maples' design! I vote for the tie dye sheets as a dress. Or even mother- daughter matching dresses! Keep the pillow cases for their intended use!
My biggest worry with this box in particular 3 minutes in is that the bedding may have been on a bed with bedbugs. I have a huge fear of a bedbug infestation so I would not gravitate towards this box, I’m excited to see how it turns out for you though!
Not sure if they're the same everywhere, but our dog once brought bedbugs into our house and we had to fumigate everything 😖 But they're definitely big enough to see on sheets. I would probably just wash everything before putting it on a bed haha
I think I would go through this outside or in the garage and then anything you want to keep throw in the drier to heat treat.
I'm also a little nervous that all those heated blankets could be from a recall.

If you’re getting rid of old bedding but don’t know what to do with it, call your local animal shelters! It’s something they usually need.
So slate grey is legit my favorite color. I try to add accents and such so my world isn’t monochrome, but my main color is often grey in some shade. But it does go with anything, so I can shift decor themes very easily! :)
I have never looked at thread count a day in my life, I look at price haha. Also hearing your mom laugh every 3 seconds in every video she appears in is the reason I survive 😂

I used to have a grey comforter, it was beautiful. It was a full set with the extra pillows and all. One of them was fluffy, one had sequence, and one was just basic BUT THE COMFORTER! It had shiny lines and looked so elegant. I used colored sheets under it for a pop of color. Just thought I'd share 🥰 loved your vid!

most people I know just use a comforter, so having it grey, black or white makes it easy to hide wear & tear from washing it. Gives a clean look for if you're having guests stay over:) I have never heard of a duvet cover until I started watching your videos, def getting one now:)

When I was your age, no, I hadn't looked up thread counts ever. Then I bought a set of sheets at H&M with a high thread count and since then I do check the thread count. It makes a big difference!

Mia, you should dye some of the damaged sheets and then you can customise the fabric to make a dress. I liked both beds but I vote for Mama Maples as I liked the pop of colour she used.

You make getting the fitted-sheets on the bed seem so easy. Meanwhile, I'm usually starfished across the bed, trying to hold the corners in place, while simultaneously pressing my face into a pillow to mask the "fitted-sheet frustration tears".

I have two heated blankets, one normal and one shaped for the neck, I use them for sleep on bad chronic pain days because they relax the muscles and turn off on their own at the 90 minutes mark. They were a great gift!
Love love love the tie dye print!! 💃💃💃 The tie dye and blue fabrics both look like good options for sewing something out of them. 😄 If you were by chance going to make something using both fabrics together, check if their fabric content is the same; cuz if one has a lot more polyester or one is all cotton, it could get messy--especially later on after a wash or two. It's pretty funny that I could enjoy watching two ladies make beds for over half an hour, lol!! But I always love you with your mom; my mom and I are quite close too, which is honestly more rare than it should be. Thanks for another fun video!! 💃🤩☺️

I actually just put my grey sheet set on my bed this week. I get bamboo everything. I have a grey comforter, grey duvet cover, grey heated blanket, grey weighted blanket and grey waterproof fleece blanket for the top so my 3 dogs do mess up my bedding. For sheets, I have grey, navy and sage. Everything on my bed, except my dog blanket, is from cozy house collection, including my mattress protector and my memory foam pillows. I, honestly, swear by that company and will not buy bedding from any other maker. It’s all bamboo and keeps your bed, at least, 10° cooler than the temperature of the room. Even the weighted blanket is made from bamboo and can be used in the summer without overheating you. The only thing I don’t use from them is my pillow cases, but that’s because I use silk cases to keep my skin and hair protected.
I love grey....and yes Mia it's because it's neutral and goes with everything! You can put just about any throw blanket on it or pillows or art work!
Gray is neutral and goes with everything! And you can have a warm gray or a cool gray so it doesn't have to feel cold if you get a warm gray.
You should definitely use the tie dye sheets to make a dress or shirt.
I love my grey sheets! Neutral and goes with anything. Trick on putting pillow cases on. Turn inside out, put hands inside at the corners, take corners of pillow and fold the pillow case over the pillow.

As a person who owns grey sheets, I like them because the ones I got are a kind of fog color. Rainy weather is my favorite and I like having colors that remind me of it. There's also a lot of blue in my room; they're both soothing colors.
I need a 10 hour loop of Mama Maples laughing laying in burgundy sundried tomato - who can be sad while watching that? no one.
I personally use gray sheets because I painted the wall that my bed is against to look like a galaxy. The bedding is neutral and doesn't distract from the wall! Also, I could watch you watch paint dry. lol. You and your mom have a great relationship and are so entertaining to watch!
I also have grey sheets! Grey really had a moment back in 2015/16 ish. I bought them back then because they were neutral and went well with everything. I normally hate grey now and wouldn't buy anything grey for my home again but the sheets still hold up. They look cozy with my red checkered winter bedding, fresh and airy with my light blue-white striped summer linens, and compliment my sage green bedding.
Grey sheets are amazing, because:
1. Grey is a neutral color, that goes with a lot of colors.
2. The color is not too light ( like white/beige), which means if I accidentally bleed or spill something on it, then I actually have a chance of getting the stain out.
And if I can't get the blood stain out, at least the stain is not pink red or brown screaming to people that the stain is blood + that I have irregular periods.
3. The color is also not too dark (like black), so the cat hairs from my cats are not extremely visible, like they would be on a black sheet.

Omg I just said the same thing. Lol Seriously, we had them and it literally drove me to bankruptcy getting rid of them. It costs thousands to treat the house and we replaced several items of furniture because I was so paranoid.
that was first thing i thought about. i have had them, the owner was not a good person and didn't even tell us about them.first we tried to get them out, but because we basically didnt even know what bed bugs were we spent a lot of money on products that did nothing and in the end we had to trow away soo much stuff when we moved. and even now if i ever wake up and feel like something is itching i panic
@@xxVoid_Wolfxx I can relate 100%. We moved into a rental that had bedbugs. It was a beautiful nearly 3000 square-foot home in a nice neighborhood, so you just don’t think about things like that. The bedbugs don’t care about socioeconomic status. Lol It was a nightmare and truly sent me into a nervous breakdown. But we couldn’t prove that they were there when we moved in because we didn’t notice them for a couple of days, and even then I didn’t realize what it was at first. Also, the landlord was a slumlord. She would never repair anything, and she finally told us we had to leave because the air conditioner didn’t work and we wanted her to fix it. I live in Las Vegas. And air conditioner they won’t cool below 80° when it’s 115° out just doesn’t cut it. We ended up having to take her to court to get our deposit back because the house was spotless when we left. We won. She had to pay us our deposit and court costs. But overall we lost because the bedbugs probably cost us $8000 between trying things that didn’t work, having a heat treatment, having to pay to stay in a hotel while the heat treatment happened, items that were thrown out because of the bugs, etc. I would never wish them upon anyone!

@@becorations1 Omggg that’s crazy! I had a similar experience but our landlord took care of everything! Even our hotel costs. But we weren’t infested jsut a few bc it was an apartment. They treated the whole Building. The pest control guy told me he only found 2 bed bugs in our apartment and it only takes one to make someone’s live a living hell!
