Even though the song Mounam polum madhuram was the inspiration this is a very good composition. We are hearing many new songs which has similarities of our old classics. It is natural as our new composers have heard that song many times, so may be inspired by it. When getting such golden tunes among below standard Malayalam new songs this is a relief to us. Also the great singing of our Jayettan and Vani amma still singing like teen agers.Yes it is the producers to decide whether to use them now also.
well said sir... there was a time when the songs were all close to their raaga bases. And they were regarded as great compositions! Having some similarity with old songs is quite natural. In this case, especially its a plus point as it generates the nostalgic mood of 80s. beautiful composition!
