    Best blower I've used. For leaf clran ups is massive. Will clean up in no time.

    Probably colder denser air gave it a higher blowing force. Still blows hard during the summer months but I notice more power when it’s cold (I.e. time of year when leafs fall). Echo did a good job. Pro tip: squeeze throttle to take it off choke

    • @joshsrcs
      @joshsrcs  Před 2 lety +1

      Cold air definitely gives it a boost, but on a block this small you don’t notice too much of a difference as it behaved much like it did in the summer. You’re right, Echo did an insanely good job engineering this blower! SUBSCRIBE!!!

      @@joshsrcs yes agreed but I was referring to the blower design itself (the pump). Seems like Echo used colder air in their design calculations because I definitely notice more power out of the tube when the air is cold and dense vs. summer months.

    The main issues I’ve come to discover with this blower not often discussed… 1. The weight is slightly higher then every other blower on the market. 2. The blower tube does not separate or shorten for work in tight spaces. 3. The fuel consumption is the highest of any other blower on the market. Other then that, it has amazing power for moving large amounts of material without question.

    • @joshsrcs
      @joshsrcs  Před rokem +1

      1 and 3 are correct but have never ever been a problem for me, but 2 is not correct as the end of the tube does separate into about 3 pieces. Thanks for watching! SUBSCRIBE!!!

    No doubt about it, the Newtons on the 9010 easily beat the BR800. But, like another reviewer noted, it needs the larger tank, because it eats fuel. You could come close to buying a new 800 every other year with the fuel savings you get. Better check your db ratings as well, the Echo is no quieter than the STIHL.

    • @joshsrcs
      @joshsrcs  Před rokem +2

      Power comes at a price… a price that I am willing to pay. It doesn’t use as much gas as people think. One tank lasts me hours and hours of work. BR-800 dB is 78, PB-9010 dB is 80, so not much difference. Not helping myself either seeing that I did some exhaust mods to my 9010T. Fuel consumption is relative seeing that the 9010 will likely get the job done faster than the BR-800 and dB rating just depends on what kind of hearing protection you use (I use 32dB rated earplugs). Also it doesn’t EAT fuel it drinks* it 😁

    It has a bigger tank because it uses a lot more fuel than the competition. Just curious, but why would you pitch your helmet to the ground?

    • @joshsrcs

      1. Excellent observation.
      2. If my helmet can’t take being tossed on some leaves it won’t protect me in a crash.

    Stihl 800C has the echo beat , I own both , echo is heavier, power , comfort, durable Stihl wins.

    You need a big tank because it does use a lot of fuel.

    • @joshsrcs
      @joshsrcs  Před 2 lety

      Well… actually considering how massive the motor is it actually doesn’t use that much fuel. It would probably take you an hour of off an on heavy blowing to run the tank dry. You are right that it does need a big fuel tank, but a lot of people think that this blower consumes a lot more fuel than it actually does. SUBSCRIBE!!!

      @@joshsrcs You get your moneys worth with the Echo 9010T. You can move more leaves on a gallon of gas than with most other brand blowers, from what i see. Personally, i have the Echo 755ST, and that is working pretty good for me so far. My blower holds a half gallon of fuel, and will run about 1 hour. Leaf blowing jobs at home used to rake me 9 to 11 hours with other brands blowers, but now i can get my leaf work done in 3 to 4 hours! I wish i would have known the quality of Echo gas power tools many years ago, because i went throw many various brands of gas powered tools over the years. I plan to go all Echo eventually. If you have a serious amount of leaves, like acres of leaves, then either a Echo 8010T or 9010T will most likely get the job done and fast!! I like Echo blowers because they are designed to perform well with leaf removal. Echo has leaf blowing broken down to a science, they understand the needs of the customers. Just make sure to get a Echo blower with enough power, plus some extra power to get your leaf job done.

    I was loving this review until you said NGK was cheap. NGK is a great plug for multiple applications. E3 is snake oil.

    • @joshsrcs
      @joshsrcs  Před 5 měsíci

      I can reason with that. E3 has worked for me in the past, but I’ve realized they are overhyped. For these small engines the E3’s do quite well and I do believe they are better than the stock NGK’s although there’s not anything wrong with them. Honestly hate the E3’s in my 7.5L truck and love the NGK’s in my Focus RS so I’m mixed on both brands.
