It still gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. All I can say absolutely beautiful.
Going to have this at my funeral. So beautiful, so moving. Not a dry eye...
Watched it so many times, but the goose bumps remain. What a wonderful film. Billy Elliot was one I saw many times. Tiny budget but unforgettable movies 🎥🎥🎥🎥
Cant think of anything so beautifull as this Piece of music
She calls that wobbly. Brilliant Pete.
I am a miner's son and a former trombone player, albeit in a swing big band. This touched me in so many ways. Thanks for uploading!
The acting is superb, the plot compelling, the music beautiful, and Tara Fitzgerald is gorgeous. What a fine movie!
Un film coup de poing particulièrement émouvant et une des plus belles scènes du film ! A voir et revoir ! Extraordinaire Pete Postlethwaite... décédé trop tôt
I'm not crying. You are.

The great late Pete Postlethwaite
Love ❤️ this ❤❤❤❤
So beautiful
Would like to know who performed this piece must say perfect thank you
Pete's acting and the music, it's hard to tell who gave the greater performance. There was never a better actor, nor was there ever a better piece of music, just my opinion
Yassss queeen x
Good thing this movie came out before the whole global warming thing got started. Today many Green people would say the mines should have been closed twenty years sooner.
Marveles
最高だわ👍
I remember reading all about the trouble of closing the coal mines in England, reading about it in the Daily telegraph in Australia. Putting miners out of work because it was cheaper to import coal from China.
Can you please tell an illinformed man about people who were effected by pit closures how has their lives moved forward.
Speaking for myself, as an ex-miner, made redundant Christmas 1990, it was a bit of a roller coaster ride. Took me about four years to find a full time job, did have part time jobs as a warehouse worker, taxi driver, data inputter. Eventually got in to working in social housing as a support worker, my last job was in a mental health rehab unit, which lasted me up to retirement seven years ago. That was a job I loved, worthwhile and good people to work with. Closing the pit was, for me, probably a good thing in the end, certainly health wise, if I'd worked in the pit up to retirement it would probably have left more of a mark.
Thanks for sharing your story . Enjoy your retirement and may it be a long one , it sounds as if you truly earned it .
Fabulous
WoW
Women and men who went through miners strike together
If this doesn't tell people to stop voting bloody tori then nothing will
The Tories are currently wanting to open a new pit but Labour aren't so sure.
これは素人の集まりっぽく作っているけど皆さんプロの演奏家でしょうね。
Fin is egg
poghers
Why has Tara got no clothes on in this clip?
Stop voting bloody tori
And it says something about the mining people of Britain......................that for this Movie they had to import a German brass band to play the music!!
Utter rubbish. I was born and bred in Grimethrope and it was the then Grimethorpe brass band who were playing they are all clearly visible on the left side of this video.
Bollocks. I just toured Grimethorpe band room and all the movie props are on show for all to see. Anyway a german band could not play this well.
Garbage. It's the Grimethorpe brass band. It says something about you that you can't read credits.
Beautiful
I don't know why, but this movie it's one of my favourites of all time. ❤️
