I could also imagine perry and doofensmirtz as a duo fighter, their moveset could be something akin to tom and Jerry on multiversus where theyre still fighting each other and the oponent just gets caught up in crossfire

I think this is a very fun and creative list! I will say I think with the limited roster space having two characters from Beauty and the Beast with Disney’s pantheon is too many. IMO I’d replace Belle with Elsa because there is not way Disney isn’t adding Elsa to any Disney crossover anything, plus she’d have very unique combat.
I do agree that 2 characters from one movie is too much, but at the same time I couldn't resist having both of them in it! And for sure Disney would include Elsa in their roster but this was more so my take on things!

@@mainbeach Hmmmm…for a personal favoritism Simba from the Lion King since that’s my favorite Disney animated movie, but based on being a fighting character I think that mechanically Baymax would be really cool.

Yk you got a great roster of characters of Disney, you seem to have fun with this lol 😆, also Mulan is a perfect choice, and so is Rapunzel, my favorite princess, wouldn’t be Elsa be perfect as well? Like ice climbers kinda?
Making this video was super fun!! It was hard narrowing down the choices even with my conditions going in. Partially why I left Elsa out from the original (I prefer Rapunzel oop). But can def see the Ice Climbers ties!!

But I guess there's only so much room, considering the company's 100+ years old on its own.
I think this video is really good, but there are a few problems I have with it. To start, you didn’t really go into detail when it came to movesets, you just kinda listed moves you want the characters to have, which is nice, but it doesn’t really help to realize the characters play styles.
And I also have some problems with the roster, my main ones being Belle and Maleficent. To start, I don’t think Belle would work as a Pokémon trainer style character, mostly because I don’t see the servants as fighters, more so assist trophy type characters. Also I feel like having two reps from Beauty and The Beast is just unfair to the other franchises. But I think it could work to swap Belle out for a woman who can actually fight, Esmeralda from Hunchback Of Notre Dame. I’d see Esmeralda as a medium weight generalist, with moves involving her goat Djali, dancing, and stage magic.
Then there’s Maleficent. Honesty I really don’t think her whole, “transforming into a dragon” gimmick works. Having her playstyle completely swap a short ways into the fight just doesn’t work to me, also she just doesn’t feel like the type of character that could work for this type of game.
You know who could work, and would give a rep for a franchise you entirely left out? Simba! I’d see Simba in a similar situation to Esmeralda, as a medium weight generalist. He’s mostly have a smooth moving playstyle, focusing on relaxing while still having some major ferocity. With a few belly slides, plenty of claw swipes and large bites, and maybe a few grubs here and there.
All in all, you got a great concept, it would be nice if you just fleshed it out a bit more.

I didn't go into detail with move sets because that sort of depth is not what I wanted for this video. My vision included a top level overview with elements I as a viewer/my target audience would enjoy learning (a few moves with explanations, skins, stages, one liners). I tried using Smash characters to help fill in the gaps with play style as well. With all this in mind and that I wanted this video to be around 10-12 minutes, I think my level of detail is enough.
For Belle - I let my creative side take the wheel here but still stand by seeing the servants as fighters. You're totally right about more than 1 character from a franchise appearing in the roster and that was my bias towards my favorite Disney movie showing :) I originally included Quasimodo in the cast and scrapped him but good to know there is interest for Hunchback characters!
Maleficent - I purposely made her a very broken character to make things fun. Her play style doesn't work for you but maybe it would work for someone else!
Simba wasn't included because I plan on making an all animal version in a future video. Might borrow some of your ideas!
TL;DR - This was my spin on a Disney smash roster. It did take a ton of fleshing out to make, just not in the direction you wanted!

Good list. Thank you for not including the buyouts like Marvel, Star Wars and ABC.... That's what I'd do, although I'd personally include a few from Pixar, as they didn't have as big an impact on the world as any other buyouts had before then.
I feel like the "Mickey-verse" would need to include Donald Duck and Goofy as well, plus Daisy as she can fight, too. Pluto can be a move for Mickey or just an assist trophy. Can't see Minnie as a fighter, though. And Mickey can have his green/blue suburban look as an alt-skin too, just to help step out of the red/black/white look.
Belle's a weird choice... especially if she's being like Pokemon Trainer. Can't see Cogsworth or Mts. Potts as fighting types. The Beast would be the better choice from the movie.
Jasmine, on the other hand, if you've seen the other 2 movies and the TV series, she can definitely fight. Maybe an echo of Aladdin, but with Rajah like Mickey has Pluto.
Esmeralda can fight with witchcraft, Kida's a fighter, not canon for the Princess line but no reason they can't be included. Elsa has ICE POWERS, so she has to be in! Maui should be in, Peter Pan, Wreck-It Ralph, many other fam-members from Encanto.... Robin Hood!
And then we have a whole troop of Disney Afternoon and TV characters... and if Disney could, Sora himself would be welcome! But I'll cut it short. I have my own roster in my mind. thx
The scope of this video was only the animated movies. I can make plenty of videos on this subject covering the other IPs!!
I can see your vision regarding the Mickey-verse, and glad I got you thinking on your own roster! Belle is my fave Disney princess so it wouldn't feel right for my own roster to not include her :)

@@mainbeach If it's Disney, there's no other way. I know I loved the Disney Afternoon and House of Mouse, but that's how it should be. Of course, we'd add Goofy to the roster, (And maybe Pete... Although Max would be a fun one.) but it would be one epic tutorial.
And that narrator could get really patronizing and insulting, which makes it 10 times funnier.

Believe it or not when I was at an anime convention I actually had an idea for Disney fighting game way back in 2018 I gave a copy of the blueprints to Andre black nerd if you wonder who he is he has a CZcams channel called Black nerd comedy and he's the only person on planet Earth I gave the blueprints to the only difference between my character roster and this one is that I focused more on Disney's original cartoon characters

if I remember correctly multiverses the platform fighter of Warner Brothers properties it was originally supposed to be with Disney characters instead but their pitch got shot down for that idea you can still see that idea in the data of multiverses if you look hard enough also one of the artists who make the characters in multiverses is the same guy who made the Disney Infinity art of the characters

Hey just to let you know I actually thought about a Disney fighting game way back in 2018 I post the image of my Facebook in when I went to the video game convention out here in Sacramento California at the Scottish rite center located near sac State and I gave a copy of the blueprints to Andre black nerd he has a CZcams channel called Black nerd comedy in and he's the only person I gave the blueprints to for the Disney fighting game the only difference between your roster and mine's is mines was more based on Disney's original TV based cartoon characters not there novel adaptations already based on other people's work but thank you for putting faith in the Disney fighting game that's like super smash Brothers we really need one
