I really appreciate that you craft from a very small space. I used to live in a tiny house before it was a thing and when you have a family expenses are high too. We can have a few very useful tools and products and do a lot with them. Now that my children are grown I have much more craft stuff, but some of it took me years to have a set of colors. I buy things on clearance or really great sales and mix brands and it has worked well for me. Some of my favorite techniques were born of trying to get the look of a product I didn't have. Not having a spool of every color ribbon saves tons of space and you end up with the color you really want when you color it yourself. I really enjoy your channel, your resourcefulness and the inspiration you provide, thank you.
Mama Pillow* I too have collected over many years. Now 68 & spending a bit more. I have invested in tools & equipment that will enable me to continue making cards for family, friends and the odd sales, as my hands deteriorate due to Depuetrens Contracture. Enjoy yourself. Thanks for your comment.🥰🦘🦘🦘🌺🦋
@Natasha Foote • My favorite is the gold-embossed card but I love your tip to only use a sentiment when you love the background. It's a great way to keep the card simple but it also saves you the agony of a series of decisions on what to add. Then your beautiful background disappears. Sad. Your quick tip has reduced our stress level and freed our backgrounds.
I have been meaning to compliment you on the way you do the double-sided tape on the back of your card fronts. You are the only person I have seen do it that way but it looks like a great way to do it - I will from now on!
It turned out very nice and I can't wait to try it.
One day maybe you'll have an actual craft room but happy you have some place to do your beautiful cards for us.
Awww Natasha, you make me so HAPPY when you "create".... Adore these cards & you did make a smart crafty-👁️ decision when you used🌈 around the edge! So special, just like YOU! 💌🥇🏆🥰🦘🦘🦘
I keep white ribbon on hand always. I find that using alcohol markers to dye them to match works perfectly for me,
Beautuful cards using the shiny embossing powders. So pretty they don't need much more than the sentiment.🌷🌷
The gold would do well for Christmas, and the silver looks like the moon! :)
Lovely cards. Using alcohol markers works well to change the colour of ribbons and they dry very quickly!
Yes, great tip!
Wow! I love both cards Tash, I like the gold one even without the butterfly & ribbon.Think I'll try this technique this afternoon. Thanks for sharing your awesome creativity again with us!!
I love watching your videos because you do so much with so little and every time I watch I learn something new. Even if it’s something I’ve seen before you probably have a different twist. I look every day to see if you’ve posted.
I love how you did these cards. I really like the way you did the rainbow effect on the crd front. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cards, as usual. ❤ I'm loving that silver background. Reminds me of the surface of the moon. Round it and pop it into a galaxy background and/or pair it with space-themed stamps.
I think of my cards as pieces of art and enjoy making the"fussier" cards. Every once a while I'd like to make some easier faster type cards and this idea is really great! They look good! Thanks for all your tips and ideas.
Love your ideas! It's much easier to use a small block to hold the ribbon down on top of your ink pad and then pull the ribbon through the ink. You may need to do both sides but often only one side is needed. Super quick and mess free (except the block needs a quick clean)
Oh I’ve recently seen an artist do that but I forgot it. Good reminder!
Love them both but have to admit the purple and gold is my fave 🥰 thanks for sharing Tash 🤗x
I always save all the ribbon cut off clothing so I never have to buy it.
I loved the rainbow border. But of course, rainbow is my favourite colour!
Your creative processes are just amazing. Again you have taken something really simple and turned it into a card that anyone would be happy to receive. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Beautiful. I really like the gold one with the purple butterfly. Very appropriate as tomorrow is my 70th Birthday.
Full of wonder! Thank you, Natasha❤️🎨🖼🖌
Congratulations on passing 80k subscribers!
Natasha,
Thanks for showing how to heat emboss with our embossing folders! This is great.
Your cards are beautiful! 💕😊
Elegant gold and purple with the butterfly. Thank you.
I like the dyeing of the ribbon it is a great tip 🥰
It's really great to see someone be so creative in a small space, I'm looking to downsize so it's encouraging and keeps me going in the right direction. Beautiful cards with a fun technique!
Beautiful!!! You've done it again. Thank-you Natasha!!!
I love this. Natasha I love that you show us the different ways to use what we have. I've said it before but you are truly an inspiration
You are most welcome :)
What a wonderful addition to the card! It was really pretty but adding all the colors to the card base was genius! Thank you!
Your embossing turned out so clean! Even the splotchy one where you had to use the dry brush. I’ve seen other crafters apply the embossing ink with a brayer to avoid getting the ink into the dips. Lovely finished cards as usual!
I really like rainbow border on silver embossed card, I have never thought to do this, definitely going to try
The silver one reminds me of space. Very cool.
Before you brush off the silver EP from the card, I thought it would make an excellent galactic background effect. Perhaps someone else noticed too! Thanks Natasha! 💞
I love the idea of coloring the ribbon, the cards are beautiful thank you so much for sharing x
Awesome Cards, just love them
Natasha, those cards are beautiful, love the rainbow border,I have a ton of embossing folder, just sorted them out last night, now I have a new technique for them. Tfs
Hi. Two stunning cards, each with a different feel from one technique. Brilliant, a classy gold and a fun silver one! I can't believe how many techniques, hints and tips you managed to fit into this video AND produce two finished cards. Once again, my hat's off to you along with my many thanks. I love the way the watercolor rainbow edging picks up the colour of the sentiment on the silver card and once I use up my coloured ribbons I'm going to buy only white ones for card making as you have saved storage space as well as money with this tip. Fabulous video, thank you for sharing it.
Never thought of doing this, what a great idea! Your cards turned out beautifully, thanks for sharing and inspiring!
I love both cards, Natasha & never realised that you can use embossing folders that way. The results are beautiful ! 😊
Love the bright colors of the last card but all are great.
Two beautiful cards Natasha. I like the gold and purple one (but then I am a gold person). The rainbow cars is a Happy card. Yvonne
Cute cards! I have lots of embossing folders so I can go crazy with this technique ! TFS!
Love the rainbow.
Love it! Purple is my fav color so I was glad you used it! Hopefully I can find some ephemera like that! Thanks!
Beautiful cards!! I have to admit I was screaming about the last border on the card, but all said and done it really worked!!
Gorgeous cards, I do love the effects of the 3D embossing folders when combined with other techniques like, heat embossing, various paint styles or ink pads, even using washi tape, ribbon etc. thank you for this latest video
Great cards again Natasha. You inspire me so much and your cards are the first one I look for every day. Then I realise that I saw you video the day before 😼
Hi. It sounds like I'm not the only one with a disappearing memory but it does give me a great excuse to watch them again!😄
I love both of the cards. I need a50 th Wedding Anniversary card, so the gold one is the go! Thank you Natasha ❤️❤️❤️
I love the gold one.
Blue is my favorite color too!
Thank you Natasha, I love today's tutorial...
They are adorable
These are wonderful and very cheery cards.
Great cards! Quite lovely. 🥰
Your cards are beautiful! 😍 Another ribbon coloring technique to try sometime; swipe the ink pad directly onto the ribbon or color directly on to the ribbon with your markers. Quick and easy! 😊 Thank you so much for sharing your talents!
Thank you again! Beautiful cards.
Love these tips! I hadn't used my watercolor markers without water (duh), but now see that they're quite beautiful! Tyfs as always
Natasha, what an awesome idea!! I love to have different ways to use what I have!! Blue is also my favorite color also💙💙💙
I was just using embossing folders yesterday and was wondering how to use embossing powders with it. Thanks for sharing.
Adding that rainbow edge really popped.
Perfect timing ... just received a couple of new 3D folders today. Your gold background would be great for a wedding card too. Love this idea Tash.
Love both cards thank you so much for showing the technique. Thank you so much
You have inspired me to peruse my stash of embossing folders to try this technique.
great technique and beautiful cards
Ohhh really really love this idea I would never of thought of doing this thank you x
Love your short, easy-to-follow tutorials!
Hello Natasha. beautiful cards
Pretty cards thank you for sharing hugs and prayers
The silver looks like outer space!
Gorgeous cards!!!
you're one of my inspiration ✨️ 💛
lovely projects, thanks for sharing.
Great video and thanks for the lovely card ideas!
So inspired by both cards!! Thank u for completing the cards. The gold card just pops with beauty. The silver pops with color. Wonder what the ribbon with a butterfly on the silver one would have looked like? Have a superb day💕🐬hugs
More than enjoying it! Something more l can play with. The background from the ribbon colouring looked interesting as well 😊
Thanks for sharing yr card videos. I get so many ideas. I live in a one bedroom apartment so my space is super limited as well. Thanks again
Thanks!
Thank you so much Janet! Very much appreciated!
Cute and colorful ❣️
Two gorgeous cards - a fairly simple yet very effective technique for any occasion 🌻🌻
Great ideas, thank you for your inspiration.
Beautiful cards, Natasha, I have a whole room for crafting and consequently I have too much craft stuff some of which I have never used,
Great. Haven't seen this technique before.
Beautiful cards
I will definitely be giving this technique a go. I love both cards but I really like the rainbow one. Its something so unique and different and fun.
Great techniques to try. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
These are such fun cards! I need to try some of the Maker Forte' Inks.
Love your videos so very much!! Very informative.
Great cards as always tfs x
Thank you, very helpful and inspiring.❤
Such pretty cards x
I'm fascinated by your technique of leaving a little bit of the cover paper from your foam tape out, then ripping it off in situ. Have you done a little demo on that (or will you?). Great creativity with your cards.
Your ideas keep flowing like a beautiful river. I always learn something! Thanks for your fun video, and I love the rainbow marker trick!
Would never have thought of using heat embossing with embossing folders but they look great as always! Love the rainbow one especially, although I think a few rainbow coloured candles at the bottom would be perfect.
Love the ideal of heat embossing folder. Gorgeous cards. The watercoloring brushes are amazing. Great video Natasha. Thank you for sharing.
So pretty
Great cards 😊
Amazing and just beautiful...thank you Natasha for such creative ideas! You are so appreciated
Very pretty
Great cards
