In short, Vietnam never had digital nomad visas and does not have them today. Prior to the C-19 pandemic, many foreigners were working illegally on tourist visas and did not pay taxes. They are one of the main reasons the government abolished longer-term tourist visas in 2019 -legislation that came into force in March 2022. Today, you can get a 30-day single-entry tourist visa that you can't renew in-country and does not allow you to work; not online and not offline. They are so into taking people $ As for the chairs, it's in tourists area and more. But it shows the way of life for vietnameses compared to Thai. Not to mention they don't like French wish is understandable seen all crap we did there! Anyway there are no advantages for digital nomads to live in Vietnam compared to other countries
