    Thank you so much for your advice and guidance over the last several months. I just left Ho Chi Minh City today and I’m now in Nha Trang. Vietnam has exceeded my expectations.

      Have fun! Happy to know that Vietnam has exceeded my expectations. It's a pretty common feedback tourists are having after travelling here :)

    In short, Vietnam never had digital nomad visas and does not have them today. Prior to the C-19 pandemic, many foreigners were working illegally on tourist visas and did not pay taxes. They are one of the main reasons the government abolished longer-term tourist visas in 2019 -legislation that came into force in March 2022. Today, you can get a 30-day single-entry tourist visa that you can't renew in-country and does not allow you to work; not online and not offline. If you need a good overview of today's visa situation in Vietnam, go to Wikipedia where you'll find the information. Cheers, OX

      @hk Well, just go to Malaysia then in that case.
      I know many Brits welcomed there, it feels vibrant, a bit more pricy but a nice place to settle.

      We talk about the visa situation at 11:36 explaining the e-visa straightforward process : fully online, results in 3 days. Pretty easy without any need of shady agents.

      $8O USD in Paris, you can get a very cheap room tho. But it will be Budget hotels 😂

      We talk about the visa situation at 11:36 explaining the e-visa straightforward process : fully online, results in 3 days. Pretty easy without any need of shady agents. You don't need to do visa run as a digital nomad, you just leave the country, visit Cambodia Thailand or Malaysia for 1-3 months then you come back a few months after.

    Hi! I sent you an email asking about your course, "how to land a job in Vietnam in 7 days." Just want to know when is the best time to purchase the course... Is it before we come to Vietnam or while we're already in Vietnam? We'll arrive in Vietnam on July 2.

      @MoveToAsia  Před rokem

      "only tourists trying vietnamese chairs" ? I guess you didn't leave Bui Vien street when you came here. Or you didn't even spent more than one week in VN. Taxi scammers, tuktuk scammers, massage scammers ... same same (but in VN no tuktuk ahah)

    • @FranckBossi
      @FranckBossi Před rokem

      @@MoveToAsia no any taxi scammers in Thailand bro...
      Vietnam tho is full of it. They have less Respect for anyone probably due to their religion or something else.
      They are so into taking people $
      As for the chairs, it's in tourists area and more. But it shows the way of life for vietnameses compared to Thai.
      Not to mention they don't like French wish is understandable seen all crap we did there!
      Anyway there are no advantages for digital nomads to live in Vietnam compared to other countries

    • @MoveToAsia
      @MoveToAsia  Před rokem

      @@FranckBossi "they don't like French" again you didn't spend enough time in Vietnam I guess. Narrowing Vietnam with its "Primary school chair" is kind of childish, right ? It's everywhere. So, what's the problem ? I personally enjoy having my morning coffee in those chairs every morning tho. About Thailand, I got scammed by a taxi / tuktuk driver in BKK, so from my experience YES scams exists there. Last message for you bro. Have other things to do in my life than talking to a troll who will always be 'Vietnam Bashing' ;)
