After getting engaged this past August, my Mom and I headed to NYC to hit up three different bridal boutiques. You looked stunning in all the dresses! Wedding dress shopping can be so overwhelming. A lot of the wedding dress boutiques where I live are really strict about filming and/or taking photos of the dresses.
The Martina Liana luxe dress that you tried on at Kleinfeld's is the wedding dress I chose for my wedding day! Planning a wedding during Covid has not been the easiest, but i'm wishing you all the best as you find your dress and plan your wedding!!
Ahhh congratulations on finding your dress!!!! That train is INSANE you will be beautiful!! Luckily they were very kind about allowing my Mom to film-- I found it so helpful because it all happens so fast I left feeling like wait, what did the dresses look like?? Wedding planning has definitely been a challenge during Covid, have you decided a date and location?
@@AndreaHelfrich Thank you so much!! ❤️It’s funny because I initially was going to say yes to another dress! but as I walked into my appointment I seen that dress on the mannequin and was like “OMG I need to try that dress on” and when I did I knew it was the one ☺️ when I went dress shopping I tried to limit myself to how many stores I went to. I only went to 3 and still probably tried on about 20-25 dresses!! It’s so great you have pictures and footage to look back on because you definitely forget details about potential dresses you might want to go back and try on. I got engaged in Sept 2019 and had my wedding date and venue booked for October 2021 before Covid. I work with a lot of brides and my heart goes out to the couples that have had to postpone/cancel their weddings due to restrictions. This is meant to be such a special time in our lives and Covid definitely has taken a bit of the wedding experience away knowing that you may not get to have the wedding you imagined or have to have a back up plan just in case 😔 Do you have a date and venue booked yet for your wedding?

First off, you looks gorgeous is all of these! I also tried on dresses during COVID and it is an odd experience, not what I had imagined when I was younger. It is totally exhausting trying on so many dresses in a limited time period, I made sure to stay hydrated (I went shopping in the summer). 😅 Since I only had my Mom there when I finally found “the dress” I held a Bridesmaids Brunch and was able to put the dress on and show all the girls + my MIL in person what the dress looked like on me, so it was almost like a normal experience. Good luck with planning!

@@AndreaHelfrich I am not getting married till June 25th, 2022 so I’m not going to start shopping till April or May. But in my head I’ve come to the conclusion I will want to see lots of dresses lol I love so many different styles, I know it will be tough to choose!

I was lucky in the fact that I was able to dress shop and buy my dress in March 2020, before the mask mandate hit. I landed on a $4,000 Martina liana gown and it was GORGEOUS. however my wedding day was Halloween of last year and the wedding (pre covid) that was built and booked for 300 guests only had ~75 attend. That was absolutely heartbreaking. And the fact that my own wedding coordinator was my wedding crasher.

I feel you. It's the price point that makes the decision feel so heavy, for me at least. The thought of finding a $200, elegant yet fast fashion dress has definitely crossed my mind

Milla Nova :) I found some in the 2K-4K while the Berta's I looked at started around 7K and went up quickly

@@TheBetStt I spoke to Tony Ward customer service and the first dress is either Alexa/ Stephanie, she said they are similar. Both that dress and the other Tony Ward (named Molly) are part of TW 2021 launching in March. They don't have the dresses listed online yet, they are exclusive for the moment and only at Kleinfeld's. I hope this helps!!
