Well, actually Ka-50 has 9M127 "Vikhr"(or Vihr. Sry, don't know how to write it in english right) ATGMs. Missile system is called 9K121
They have range about 10km, proximity fuze for air targets and a HEAT fragmentation warhead. So these ATGMs can both destroy ground targets and air targets
I guess Mi-24P(the exact modification that GS is using) won't have a chance vs Ka-50 with this kind of missiles, because it has only 9M114 "Kokon" ATGM, which stays not even close to 9M127 Vikhr. It's range is only 5km, no proximity fuze and warhead is just HEAT without fragmentation
Eventually, Ka-50 has I-251 Shkval sighting complex. It guides ATGMs and calculates gun's ballistics itself so you can perform deflection shooting. So the only thing you have to do is just lock on your target. Also Shkval can calculate unguided rockets' ballistics(such as S-8 rockets) to also perform deflection shooting

That’s not a fair comparison. It’s more like a Stryker APC (Huey) vs a BMP IFV (HIND). A technical helicopter is more like a civilian 2 seater with 6 shot rocket pods strapped on it used by a rebel army in Africa.

Conclusion: The best weapon of the Huey against the Hind is the Huey itself. : ) I think Hind vs. Gazelle would be an interesting pairing too (the Mistral variant would be unfair against the Hind but the 20 mm cannon should have an effect). The Gazelle is even more fragile but should be quite a bit more maneuverable.

Huey is a transport helicopter meant to get in and out. Maybe suppress fire a bit. Hind on the other was design to delivery troops in and stick around to support.

In the early 1980's I took an Army ROTC class to test the waters. I remember the instructions in the field manual for a Huey pilot who encountered a Hind: Land immediately and run away as fast as you can and pray that the Hind crew will be content with merely destroying your aircraft and won't machine-gun you as you run. That's when I decided not to join the Army.

Daamn!...just Damn! These are 2 very different class of acft....I have seen these Hind's on the border in the late 80's and they are very menacing. I got to walk through one while parked in 2004 during my time in the desert. The Hind is a beast of an acft...very glad I managed to finish my career without going toe to toe with that thing...

In addition to the Ka-50 to Mi-24 match suggestion, I also suggest the Mi-24 versus a light attack fixed wing aircraft. Sort of the slimmest boundary between fast movers and slow movers. The A-10 might be too much - Aermacchi might be better.
