- McDonalds claims to be sustainable.. sourcing meat and cheese from lush green pastures.
Though in reality animals farmed on mud make up large proportions of the animal products they use.
Mud farming. Also known as Intensive Winter Grazing; a practice used because we have too many cows and not enough grass. Paddocks are churned up into a slurry of mud, pathogens, urine, and fecaes. This impacts animals health, human health and degrades lakes, rivers and estueries.
Now, we want MacDonalds to issue a public statement regarding their position on mud farming, how it aligns with their corporate responsibilities and environmental values.
McDonalds needs to contact their suppliers of meat and dairy products, requesting them to follow through with a supply-chain system ensuring no animal products are raised in mud farming condition.

Great mahi Geoff
Thanks Shaun. A team effort here ;)
Great video.. sharing
Cheers!
Omg...thank you
No worries. Except for the mud farming. It's a worry
Did you film this a day after a big rain?
Mostly filmed in winter when it rains and all the damage is done. Some times a few days after rain. Some shots are right after rain to show the truth.
That’s why I add mayo to my cheeseburger
Well. Maccas were the first to commit to ending battery farmed hens.
Thanks as always for your work my man
Cheers Matt!
NZ produces cheese for 3 billion McDonalds burgers for the world.
This is how they do it..
Pure Filth!
can you send location to these mud farms would like to see them myself thank you, iv never seen one in my whole lifetime in New Zealand .
Which region are you in? I'll send you pins for the nearest abuse.
bump
Regenerative ranching (like done by Greg Judy and taught globally) is not taught. They need to move cows and not keep them on one small area. You need to move them around and maintain the grass, not use it to depletion.
Mud farming has no future in NZ
No idea what you're talking about. So far off the mark its laughable.
Where is the mark? How would you summarise the current situation?
