History is important to understand who we are a where we've come from but Life Lessons are also very important, especially in today's fast paced world.
(P.S. Personally I find Pi endlessly fascinating :D )

Replace religious education with life skills. If your parents want you to learn about religion let them take you to the place of worship they wish you to be part of. Most of my R.E was being sat in front of a TV watching jesus videos or the teacher discussing no sex before marriage (he was pumping the English teacher on the side), no condoms or abortions while 2 girls in the class were already up the duff at 15...Sir! Sir!... I think your a bit too late to do that chat 🙄
