I first heard this song 50 years ago and it still passes the test of time. His 335 sounds just like the record slightly distorted tone without sounding like like an enraged mosquito. Just can't say enough good about the entire performance.
I knew a medical doctor who was very young and his dying wish was to see the Moody Blues live in concert and as it was they came to Pensacola just 50 miles away from his home....how cool is that! His name was Beard. Won't forget him.M.B. you fullfilled a dying man's wish.
It's No Wonder Why This Classic Band Has Been Together for Over Half a Century!!! This Whole Song is My Favorite Moody Blues Tune, But, Justin's AMAZING Guitar Solo's Are Phenomenal...a Song Unto itself!!!
Why anyone would ever give this video a thumbs down is beyond me. This was awesome and Justin played his loving guitar with passion. It was a great video and Maggie had the camera on Justin because that is what the people want to see. I could watch him sing and play all day long. Fantastic.
Graham L❤ved this, can you see how into it he was? Suite J, Awesome John, Carry on Elder Lads. Carry on! Let's get Justin n John ON STAGE TOGETHER, Blue Jay's Reunited! RAH.
OMG!! WOW!!! Awesome video! I am so glad they added this song! Love the ending where he lets the guitar send out vibrations! What a true living legend Justin Hayward is!
Wow, this is the best video of You and Me I have ever seen! What an underrated classic. Justin really gets into this and shows what a great guitarist he is when he decides to play! I wish he would let loose more often!
I really Love the sound of that guitar!!! Thank you Justin! Not to mention the whole song!! Moodys albums are the soundtrack of my life! Again thank you for the post!
I've seen them 3 times. If you ever get the chance, take it. One of the greatest bands I've ever seen. And I've seen most of them. Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, many others.
I'm lucky enough to have seen them live 7 times, starting in 1974, when Mike was still with them. Still stands as my favorite rock concert I've seen. A close second was Lynyrd Skynyrd in 77, about a week before the fatal plane crash.
Your comment of 11 years ago (2013) caught my attention. Though I'm a stranger to you, I share your enthusiasm for the Moodiee. I saw them in person one time in Chicago, in 1978, I believe it was. Their 50th anniversary tour of their Days of Future Passed was filmed in a live concert and broadcast on PBS in America, and probably in Europe and the UK I would guess. So I hope you got to watch that. I need to order the DVD is it's available. All the best to you from yours truly in the Chicago area.
Justin and the band are Incredible bringing theri studio sound onto the stage. JH has serious chops and a Great sound as a guitarist...and of course his voice is incredible...what a GREAT band ! RIP Graeme
"We look around in wonder, At the work that has been done, By the visions of our Father Touched by His loving Son." With lyrics like this, it is no small wonder how the Moody Blues became so successful!
Saw them at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000. Marvelous. So sorry to learn of Ray Thomas' death. But so lucky for us all that the Moody Blues are eternal.
Sounds and looks great even on my iPhone ! Nice videography. Hope I get to catch the concert after my shift at Musikfest. Saw them In in 72, 78 and 81. And they still seem to sound great.
Absolutely fantastic!! I am soooooo glad they decided to play this song live! OH, It's a masterpiece for the Moodies..One of my Most Favorites! Love this Fast beat and Dreamy guitar! Thanks Maggie for sharing this ! It's just Priceless and bringing to the tour is a lovely Treat for us Fans! xoxoxoxo times a million for this band !! :)!!! Lisa/Huntington Beach,Calif.
@@rogerthomas169There are so many to choose from it's hard for me to pick favourites. When I was a kid in the '70s I would play the entire core 7 on a long week-end back to back with some mild chemical enhancement and it was almost a religious experience. Very spiritual....
41 years after the 1972 recording. Amazing. Also, from a musical standpoint, the song is quite simple, based on the myxolydian mode, harmonized using the three chords: D major, A major and E major. But the attraction is the clever, repeated melodic motif in the extended guitar lead, and the vocal melody, which was wed so well with the lyrics. That's what makes this Hayward - Edge song so memorable and truly enjoyable. (I used to perform this on a guitar/vocal duet gig back in the late 1970's. So enjoyable.)
A prayer answered to hear this song LIVE! So long have I waited!! Emm Emm emm!! Such an amazing song , lyrics and Creation!!!! Love this Moodies Song!! xoxoxo
Oh well so much for voice to text ... Over 40 years later and it sounds almost as great as the studio version of course the high voice of John Lodge gets a little help these days. But the harmonies are still so good. Clearly the Moody blues belong in the rock 'n roll Hall of Fame. I saw the tours and 72 and 73 with Mike Piinder, And those concept albums were still my favorite Moody Blues studio albums. But it's greatest see them still performing their hits and sounding great
OMG--this is absolutely fabulous!!! Thank you for recording and uploading this, Maggie--I think it's the best song they do these days! Thrilled to death!
This is a fantastic capture, Maggie. Thank you so much. The entire song is great, but I have to say it, :34 absolutely collapses me with laughter. I think he forgot himself for a second there...definitely into it. :-D I DO love these candid videos!
Beautiful video Maggie! Thanks so much for posting these...it's almost like being there! I hope you've had a good trip & made lots f great new memories. Have an awesome time!
It certainly does, in the hands of someone who knows how to play it. I've always thought that Justin Hayward is a vastly underrated guitar player. That intro is pure magic! May be my favorite intro in all of rock!
Britbabe Justin really got into this Song. Graeme helped Compose it, and Look at the remarkle results. 🎉😂❤ 😊So much Depth to this incredible Song. Ahh to hear this Live Again , In a Tribute to Graeme and Ray. Hey, why not get Mike on the organ add some Mellotron? Brilliant.
Glad to have had you in Utica too...I thought the show in my home town topped all I had seen of the moodies since 78 my first..in Houston Tx. Your thoughts?
No music like this in todays age! The 60s and 70s the best! I’m glad I lived it live!
Amen.😅

Wow, just wow. Justin's playing is perfect, doesn't miss a note and just everything about the song is wonderful. Thanks for capturing, Maggie
The most underrated song the Moodys ever created. I love this song!!!!!
Justin is magnificent. Always and forever.
This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE SONG!!! Nothing else compares!! for 40 years it has been my FAVORITE Hands down!!
Mine too...they had so many great tunes but this one has been my favorite since Seventh Sojourn...I think it's that guitar playing.
My favorite also.
Nothing else compares, except every other Moody's song.
Why anyone would ever give this video a thumbs down is beyond me. This was awesome and Justin played his loving guitar with passion. It was a great video and Maggie had the camera on Justin because that is what the people want to see. I could watch him sing and play all day long. Fantastic.
Hate always finds a reason, but love always funds a way.
Dislike rooted in envy?

Terrific song from the most WONDERFUL band in the world! Rock on, Moodies! You will ALWAYS live in my heart!
Justin is really digging playing this lead -- love it
OMG!! WOW!!! Awesome video! I am so glad they added this song! Love the ending where he lets the guitar send out vibrations! What a true living legend Justin Hayward is!
You like that intro? (I thought so)
I just love the Maracas at the end of the song! So storytelling!
Justin, John and Graham
What a musician and songwriter. Still going strong in his mid seventies. Going on tour later this year and hope to see him one more time.
That’s some of the best ES335 tones in the universe, just magical and heavenly.
Wow, this is the best video of You and Me I have ever seen! What an underrated classic. Justin really gets into this and shows what a great guitarist he is when he decides to play! I wish he would let loose more often!
There's a man who loves his guitar.
I always loved this song.

BRAVO! Justin's tone. wow!
I've seen them 3 times. If you ever get the chance, take it. One of the greatest bands I've ever seen. And I've seen most of them. Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, many others.
This group is a legend.
I live near Pittsburgh and have been fortunate enough to see them twice, they are phenomenal. Been a Moodies fan since forever.
I'm lucky enough to have seen them live 7 times, starting in 1974, when Mike was still with them. Still stands as my favorite rock concert I've seen. A close second was Lynyrd Skynyrd in 77, about a week before the fatal plane crash.
Saw them about 25 times from 1978 to 2018. CT, MA, RI, NH, NY, and Las Vegas.
@@thomaskowalcky4553 Damn! That should make you an honorary band member/official fan something.
The song and guitarist are great; ahead of it moody blues
My favourite song of the whole show. Thanks for the memory Maggie. Was a brilliant night!

My favorite band in the world, since I was about 12.
This song is a classic. Loved it since Forever.
Saw them at the Royal Albert Hall in 2000. Marvelous. So sorry to learn of Ray Thomas' death. But so lucky for us all that the Moody Blues are eternal.
Justin is such a great guitar player but you will never hear a word about him.
Waauw love his face in the end. Great job ❤
I was lucky enough to have been there that night. Brilliant concert!
You & Me is becoming one of "the songs we can't get offstage without playing" -- woohoo, so glad!
I love their way with Rock and Roll. Wonderful video Maggie Clark. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for capturing this rare live classic. You kept the lens on the man and the guitar work perfectly. Love it
Sounds and looks great even on my iPhone !

Saw them In in 72, 78 and 81.

Yay... You & Me ! Looove the guitar on this one so much; did Justin nail it, or what!?
Sweet mother above! Still amazing!!
One of the best songs from the Moody Blues, and so true for today in 2020!!
What a man! I hope there are guitars in heaven... so I can listen to him forever........
seriously, if there are no guitars in heaven, then it's misnamed and I'm not going.
One that I have not seen performed at a concert. My all time favorite band! Thank you for posting!

It's amazing that I'm always discovering new songs. I heard Question a number of times but this is another gem by Justin. Simply sublime....🎼🎵🎶🎤🎸🎸🎹🥁
Cowritten with Graeme Edge. One of my favorite tunes of theirs. Very succinct!!
Next try...out and in, then
Are you sitting comfortably, then

The Moody Blues created progressive rock, and this is their music at its best!!!
So much better backup people, including Norda.
She has class, and is gifted.
Man on organ is great.
LOVE THIS SONG
Thanks for posting this is one of my favorite Moody blue songs
A prayer answered to hear this song LIVE! So long have I waited!! Emm Emm emm!! Such an amazing song , lyrics and Creation!!!! Love this Moodies Song!! xoxoxo
Hayward make everything look so easy. He was by far the best acoustic pop guitarist in the 60's and 70's. Hs lyrics are so deep.
Magnificent song, captured as ever perfectly. You are a star for getting this quality out here for us all to share. I was there too!
Thank you
Justin’s strumming, at times, makes Question look tame! Great video.
Thanks Maggie, this was a show in a million.
Brilliant, sweetheart
Love them so much!!!

Find You and Me,Bexkthorn's backing to hear the original background track for this awesome ,powerful tune. It's rich and a real magic carpet ride.
Love this video!
Great recording. Just saw them in Atlantic City for my birthday!
Beautiful video Maggie! Thanks so much for posting these...it's almost like being there! I hope you've had a good trip & made lots f great new memories. Have an awesome time!
Got to admit that Justin's Gibson ES-335 sounds pretty ballsy here!
Fantastic tone on that one.
Also love the sounds of Gibson guitars.
It certainly does, in the hands of someone who knows how to play it. I've always thought that Justin Hayward

bluejays. and yes, it's incredible. came out right after seventh sojourn.
Maggie is Brilliant.
Still a thumbs up awesome rare clip of a GREAT song, but this live piece sure needed the strong Mellotron backing as only Mike Pinder could provide !
Britbabe Justin really got into this Song.
Graeme helped Compose it, and Look at the remarkle results. 🎉😂❤
😊So much Depth to this incredible Song.
Ahh to hear this Live Again ,
In a Tribute to Graeme and Ray.
Hey, why not get Mike on the organ add some Mellotron?
Brilliant.
So good 👍🎸
Listen to that Bass. John Lodge is right on the beat.
Next to Pink Floyd, Moody Blues is my next favorite band
Yes, the camera should be initially focused on the two authors.
Glad to have had you in Utica too...I thought the show in my home town topped all I had seen of the moodies since 78 my first..in Houston Tx.
Your thoughts?
Justin looks stronger than ever !!! Liking the shorter hair too..oh yeah! Looking a little Boyish!! :) Like !!
Never bettered
Now i got it right,
Nice intro lead - guitar players try to play it, it sounds simple but it's tricky
Justin's pretty good, huh? What a truly great tune, one with a great deal of Mike Pinder influence.
heyward and lodge.......blubirds album........great
Sorry about that i seem to be on my wife,s face book page. It should be Randy Moore.
not that long ago !!
