Playoffs: Yorktown vs. Marshall High School Football

The Marshall Statesmen played an unbelievable game coming into Yorktown and playing the 9-1 Patriots til the last few minutes of the game. Down 21-0 at the half, Marshall, scored 23 second half points including 16 in the fourth quarter. But Yorktown holds on 28 -23 to move on to the second round of the Virginia 6A state football playoffs. Next Friday night they will face the Madison Warhawks who tho, 7-3 are seeded above Yorktown due to power points.
