The Platinum Waltz Looking back to 2022 !

Hi everyone. It was two years ago that Platinum Waltz fever was gripping the dance world and dance groups around the country and commonwealth were learning the dance ready for the Jubilee celebrations.
Here's a look back at how it started and I had to pick 6 video's out of nearly 100 so there will be a few more so all the groups can see what they were doing back then. It's tricky to splice together different dance groups with the same tune running continuously through the 6 video's but hopefully I have managed to get them all in time :) Hope you enjoy :)

Indeed it seems to be a staple at so many dances now and there were a few who said it would only last a month lol. I think the memory of the queen has much to do with it and I note with pleasure how often I hear the piece I composed for the queen being played. The music and the dance are quite linked which is unusual but gratifying😊

Thanks Mike at least on that occasion I got the steps right ! I was usually to busy listening to the music and setting up the camera and often went wrong lol ( still do !)
