In regards to weapon choice in elden ring in these runs, have you thought about just changing stat req for all weapons? You could choose a baseline stat req. for each weapon type, like bhf for all great curved swords, and whichever weapon uses a 3rd stat (faith, arcane etc.) you could choose the 2nd highest required stat the base weapon has or whatever. Otherwise even with randomized weapons it seems like everyone just looks for most stat/dmg efficient weapon and it kinda becomes stale, since everyone runs mostly the same weapons every time(dragon halberd, stormhawk axe, helphens steeple etc.). I imagine someone can mod that. That wouldnt necessarily fix the whole weapon choice thing (everyone going with the same thing), but I believe it would add more of variety in terms of game to game basis for players and viewers.
