I only run anti meta, vanity stun, and burn decks at tourny. Occasionally strikers or orcust against friends although they are both built well, i just rather have an answer than a possible otk with no negates.
Why playing stun is fun, sometimes its nice to just force your opponent to play a slower yugioh and basically tell them you cant play the game. However, OTK’s are much more fun. Neither are particularly very meta, but sometimes its nice to walk away from the endless combos and obsessive card advantage games that Yu-Gi-Oh! Has evolved to. At the same time, Stun is clearly not a very healthy strategy, but this is one of your best videos, the “fuck you, you suffer with me.” was hilarious.

I'm generally okay with Control strategies, because they usually require proper planning and thoughtful play to execute correctly, but Stun is just braindead. There's no game to be had, it's just "Welp, I don't have a card to help the situation so I just can't play."

Had a 36 round match against eldlich while I was playing true Draco. It devolved into me constantly recycling my last 15 cards, while he kept summoning eldlich and slowly lost all the materials he needed. Also as to why I couldn't use card destructs: he used a monster that can be revealed in you hand and causes your cards to be indestructible by effects.
This is one of the reasons why Red Reboot should not be banned even though it's a floodgate. I want to be able to say "fuck you" when my opponent activates any trap in a stun deck. I know it's a shitty reasoning but still. If I can't play Yu-Gi-Oh I want to inflict the same pain to my opponent even for 1 turn.

Edit When you click batlle phase did your opponent agree to leave the main phase, and also did he agree to leave the succesfull summoned of Utopia the lightning.

Ironically was less good for it's time because expending your precious normal summon for a 1900 beat stick that can also serve as a multifaceted stun to very specific sorts of plays wasn't very good. Then again people used to think Solemn Judgement was bad too because negate anything for half your lifepoints sounded like a bad deal. For the time anyway.
i play exodia-volcanic and matches with anti-meta are the most funny thing because it is open war and it is not one side annihilation like in meta deck

I really don't get all the salt in the comments section and in Farfa himself about stun decks. If you build your deck entirely around a few pre-scripted combos like predaplants into brilliant fusion into link spam, and don't have any means of interacting with your opponent unless you get off those combos, and you KNOW there are effects that completely shut down those combos, isn't that kind of your fault? This isn't just directed at Farfa but at modern Yugioh deckbuilders in general.

Lightning actually would've won you the game if you made it a turn sooner. It disables backrow when it attacks at all.

You were actually right. Lightning disables backrow on attack, the attack boost only works on attacking another monster.
r attack declaration happen before battle step. Thats when Lightning works. Storming will activate BEFORE getting into damage step.
