    Wow! I’ve watched all of your videos now on these products & I must say I’m in love with them! I have all the TH products, all I have to get are the Cosmic Shimmer goodies! I actually have had 2 jars of different gold tones for quite a while, but never could get the applicators out, thank you so much for the hint on that! (I tried using my finger with the gold, but that didn’t work out very well!) Your designs are beautiful, I can’t get over how easy you make it look! I can hardly wait to add some more colors! Thank you, Erica❤

    Thank you for your tip on removing the foam applicators. I've had terrible trouble getting some out. I actually gave up on 3 of the six jars I have. Now I'm off to give this a try...and bet it works. I have arthritis in my wrists and some finger joints and thought perhaps I just didn't have enough strength sometimes. Those that did come out were never an issue only those that didn't budge to begin with. My first attempts at using the gilding pastes weren't good. So I'm switching to black cardstock to practice on. I have beautiful deep 3D embossing plates including the Tim Holtz and Sizzix but also a few other brands. I did't initially use the technique of dabbing excess off onto a glass mat. Mind you I own 3 soon to be 4 glass mats including both large and small Tim Holtz mats which you use in your videos. So shame on me. But again you opened my eyes to how well this works. Really your tips using these gilding jars of metalic and shimmery finishes is so lovely. I'd be happy to just get one color to work out well but your tips using 3 colors makes me want to try that too. Thanks for a great tutorial set.

    ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS VIdeo!! You inspired me with all the creative ideas how to use the Gilding polish- I have @10 Opal Polish colors & a few glitter kiss & lustre colors. They are addictive to keep- they change everything you create. I love the multi colors from the opal polishes & everyone is amazed- because it looks complicated & is actually very effortless with maximum results. TY for this video - among all the other great ones you have done!

    Absolutely gorgeous cards! I have to get a few colors. What weight card stock do you work the polishes on? I'm never sure of the cardstock weight to use for different applications. Thank you for this tutorial.

      @pinkwhisperdesigns3152  Před 2 lety

      Hello! I almost always use a 100lb weight cardstock. Although I must say that since these inks dry so quickly you can probably get away with a lower weight. Hope you give it a try! Have fun and thank you for your comments!

    I love your videos. ❤
    May I ask where you got the mat you’re using and what do you use to get the cards to stick to it. Thanks. 🙏
    Also do you spritz the polish with water before you store them. Mine looks a bit dry.

      Hello! I'm using the Wendy Vechi Make-art Stay-tion which is a magnetic platform. The one I'm using is the 12" x 12" mat. Since I wasn't going to be using the magnets I just placed a little tiny bit of double-sided tape on the back of the cardstock so that it would stay in place. I will link the Make-art Stay-tion here for you so that you can take a look at it if you wish:

      And yes....I always spritz the inside of the jar with a bit of water to keep the gilding polish moist!
      Thank you so much for your comments! Have fun!!!

    Your cards turned out beautiful. 💕
    I have some of the mousse which I haven't used yet. Have you used it before?

    • @pinkwhisperdesigns3152
      @pinkwhisperdesigns3152  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Sharyn! Yes...I have used the mousse. I would say it is a bit thicker, creamier, and more opaque than the gilding polish...but really beautiful as well. They are great with stencils! They don’t really change color or tone when placed on different colors of paper like the gilding polishes tend to do. Hope this helps! Have fun crafting! Thank you so much for your comments.😊

    On the white cardstock where you've rubbed blue over yellow it is green, where you've rubbed blue over pink it is purple..... how is it that "they don't blend"???

    • @pinkwhisperdesigns3152
      @pinkwhisperdesigns3152  Před rokem

      Hello! It’s really because it dries so quickly that you get very little mixing of colors. It kind of gives the illusion of blending but you are really just adding color over the top of the previous color. Hope this helps!
