And Mariah was a human from Shadows past introduced in SA2, she only had a few brief appearances that were tragic and short so Jack is saying what Eggman did with his life is sadder than Maria's short sad run.

- Mobius was the name of Sonic's home in a lot of media, but the name's been pretty much phased out.
- Elise was a character in the failed reboot Sonic '06. She's known for three things in that game: being put into a weird love plot with Sonic, having the personality of cardboard, and being kidnapped by Eggman every 10 minutes.
- Maria was Eggman's cousin. Their grandfather Gerald was working on a cure for an illness she had and ended up creating Shadow in the process. Paranoid of what he was doing, the government raided his lab and Maria was shot in the chaos.
- Eggman is infamously able to outrun Sonic in some of the early games.
If I recall correctly, Maria's illness was the fictional Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or NiDs, for short. Victims of the disease would grow increasingly weak and fragile, though that is the case with many similar diseases, including cancer (I suspect that, in reality, Maria had brain cancer).
What’s weirdest about Maria’s illness is Shadow was created to be a cure, so…October must be a busy time for him?

"Doesn't it sting? The whole of Mobius Loathes you" is a reference to the tv series for sonic that was based on the archie comics. In that world, Dr. Robotnik and sonic both lived in a kingdom known as Mobius.
So he is essentially saying that your entire home country hates you with this line.
"Kidnap Elise again you two deserve each other more" is a reference to Elise from sonic 06. Widely considered to be a failure of a game, Elise is a human that falls in love with sonic in the game and serves as the main love interest in place of Amy with the only difference being that while Amy was kind of quirky and can be fun in the right situation. Elise was an awful character, like seriously, in my opinion on of the worst written characters in the sonic franchise.
So here he is essentially saying you deserve the worst girl to eggman.
"Maria's shelf life ain't as sad as what you've done with yours" This is a reference to sonic adventure 2. In this game, robotnik's grandfather Gerald creates shadow. Shadow lives in the space ark with Maria for a long time. However, at some point the government decided, "Lets piss of the mad and deranged scientist that built a space cannon" and killed Maria. Thats the reason both he and shadow hate the world and tried to destroy it.
So here he is saying that she died and her sad end (via a corrupt government attack) was not as bad as his own life.
"I make fleets from the harmless creatures that fill your nightmares" Refers to in the sonic games how eggman always turns actual animals into robots of destruction. And when sonic goes through the game he breaks the machines and releases the animals.
So this is just a literal statement.
"I run at a pace not even the speed of sound dares" This is a reference to the first sonic game ever made. In that game, at the end when robotnik is defeated he runs across a platform in order to escape from sonic. Normally, he escapes before sonic has the ability to chase, however, with a glitch sonic can get through the wall before he escapes. If this is done, then robotnik is programed to always stay in front of sonic. Because of this, when you glitch past, no matter how fast sonic runs, eggman will always stay in front of him. This has started a meme in the community that eggman is faster then sonic. And because it is said that sonic moves as fast as the speed of sound, producing sonic booms in several different tv shows.
This line is a direct reference to that meme. (I can tell cause in the background you can see a sprite from the first game.)
Also the harmless creatures is because Jack Horner hates talking fairy tale animals with a passion

5:06 I think this bar has a bit more to it. Jack Horner would be the "pink blur" because Eggman would smash him until he is pink (one of Horner's main colors). This could also be a Danganronpa reference like "Ultimate Eyesore" (the main characters from DR are known as "Ultimates)" as the blood in the game is pink and [Danganronpa spoiler] one character gets crushed into what could be described as a "pink blur."
Unfortunately I haven’t played Danganronpa so I wouldn’t have gotten that lol, and I didn’t read all the comment so I’m not spoiled 😅
