Conflicting reports coming out of Russia/Belarus are alluding to the idea that Philly goalie prospect Alexei Kolosov might be homesick enough to give up his NHL dream, at least for now, and return home to play in the KHL.

Let’s remember today is the 50th anniversary of the Flyers winning their first Stanley Cup. 19 May 1974, a night to remember.
I appreciate your negativity as a Flyers fan. I have no hope for the Flyers because of their history that I lived through:
1979 Parent getting blinded
1980 Leon Stickle
1985 Pelle Lindbergh
1986 choking to the Rangers in the first round after beting them 6-0-1 in regular season. Edmonton is upset that year leaving the Cup wide open, but too bad we were out in the first round.
1987 having an injury plagued team lose in 7 to Edmonton,
1996, Flyers get upset by annoying Florida team in round 2. Key player (Peter Forsberg) Flyers traded for Lindros becomes a key piece of Colorado’s Cup winning teams.
1997, Flyers lose to Detroit - a great team - but the Flyers get swept which leads to unnecessary internal musings and blaming. Lindros begins to have injury problems which would ultimately end his time as a Flyer.
1998-2005 Flyers are a fun team to watch and have a lot of heart, but always fail to win the Cup.
2006 Flyers Captain Keith Primeau retires due to concussion problems. The player the Flyers traded for him becomes captain of the 2006 Cup winning Hurricanes.
2006-2007 Flyers are historically bad - super bad; worst team in the league BY FAR -2007 Flyers lose draft lottery which produced Patrick Kane.
2010 Flyers bizarrely make the Cup final and lose on a goal by the aforementioned Patrick Kane who should have been a Flyer.
Chris Pronger, whom the team acquired for several first round picks and who helped lead the team to the Cup final retires due to concussions.
2017 Flyers win draft lottery to move up to second pick, an unexpected positive turn of events. Flyers draft Nolan Patrick, the best available player by almost every pundit.
Nolan Patrick has ongoing injuries while the players taken 3rd, 4th, and 5th, Heiskanen, Makar, and Pettersson, become all stars and top end talent.
2023 Cutter Gauthier, becoming a phenomenal talent refuses to play for the Flyers. I am sure he will become an All Star.
Carter Hart, a top 10 goalie and amazing trade chip, is arrested for sexual assault.
Bryzgalov the embarrassing golden goalie flop. Aren’t we still paying him ?
