This video consists of me going over all of the damage to my motorcycle after i crashed going 60 mph on a corner when the road was covered in Anti-freeze...
Insurance is covering almost/ basically everything. Im going to upgrade some parts and add some aftermarket stuff on, nothing crazy! but stay tuned and check out how beautiful this bike is going to be!
Waiting to get the transmission fixed, should be a simple fix hopefully but stay tuned and you'll hear all about it!

Thank you! Fork covers are stock and I try to keep everything nice and tidy. Yeah the tank was definitely a pretty penny but it was worth replacing :)
I had a VTX 1800 for a couple of years. Great highway cruising bike, but the lean angle is non existent. The left footpeg bracket was probably the cause of the accident. if the windshield doesn't fit properly, something is likely tweaked or bent in the front end. I don't understand how the transmission got damaged, because the shifter uses a linkage between it and the actual shift shaft. I dropped a Kawasaki Vulcan 750 on the shifter many years ago, which does not use a linkage, it broke off a circlip inside transmission, and I had to split the cases to fix it.
It’s the shifter spindle connected to the shifter shaft that bent one of the engaging points that’s shift the drum forward and backwards changing the gears, it’s a 30 dollar part on eBay and I’m just waiting to get in installed 😭 it has the tie rod linkage that isn’t bent which leads me to believe that it’s that spindle. If it’s not the shifter spindle then it’s the shifter fork and the case will have to be split open but there’s no way it’s the fork, seen it happen on other vtx’s so I’m praying

Not with the flames, and that will fit this bike, this model is unique and will not fit with other models, but the main priority was to get the flames to match the rest of the bike, last one
@@RidinAndVibincool....i have been building custom bikes my whole life. i had a full custom bike fall over on its side ( on concrete!) just sitting idling!! nice dent in the tank....a little bondo and paint and good as new!! your damage isn't bad at all.....shop around....don't get screwed on body work bro. best wishes... be safe.

Barely any damage
If you consider a transmission messed up and a $3500 tank and 4k more in other damages not that much damage on a mint condition bike then I understand but for me, that’s a lot of money and damage on something that literally was perfect condition
