I hit up a brand new Costco about a week after they opened (last year) and they still had a few interesting bottles on the shelf to include Heaven Hill BiB, Bookers and Henry McKenna (I think they also had some cask strength Angel's Envy, if my brain is remembering correctly). All of them allocated (or at least difficult to find) where I'm at in AZ
I’ve only ever waited in line for a bottle once, and that was a recent Total Wine grand reserve drop. Haters are gonna hate but for me, the time flew by because I got to meet some really awesome people! And at the end, I scored a Heaven Hill 18 for MSRP. 🎉

I don't know why anyone would do this I don't have this kind of free time and I'm retired. Its a Costco they probably won't have most of what that first guy is looking for. Heritage 18 at a Costco really. I prefer just walking in and get what I like and don't worry about allocated bottles. Crazy.
I got extremely lucky. I showed up at 9 when it opened at 8 and luckily they pulled out a “hidden” pallet and I was able to score an EHT small batch, Eagle rare, Blantons, Remus, Bardstown 4S, HWCS, FRFS, 4RBS

Idk I waited for 10 hours overnight once, got a weller single barrel for 60$ that I traded into an Ecbp C923 and a JD 12 . Don't regret it.
They are only over priced. Those are some good bottles and if you could be in the first 10 people, I think it would be worth it for MSRP

Costco does get Pappy and BTAC. No one knows for sure but they do get those bottles every year
