    I was thinking of buying a new xe but this video just proved to me that there is too much tech in modern cars that is pointless and confusing,I think I will be keeping my 8 year old merc a lot longer.

      Hi Chris! Hope all is well with you and your family in this pandemic. I am considering abt buying XE this year. Can you pls help with the following questions?
      1) How is the ride comfort and suspension?
      2) How is the overall performance at highways and in cities?
      3) Have you faced any mechanical, electrical or electronic issues ?
      Thank you!

      Hi Sid , hope you are well and keeping safe , regarding your Questions .
      The ride is very comfortable and handles very good , I’ve owned 3 Bmw’s and steering and suspension is in my opinion superior to them.
      I’ve had no issues with the car engine or electronics , fuel economy is very good I am getting around 6.7 Ltr per 100 k , obviously if you gun it that goes out the window .
      As I have said I’m very pleased with the car but like all cars have things you don’t like , my dislike is the navigation system , not user friendly in my mind , also the centre pillar between the front and back doors is a bad blind spot .
      My only advise to you is do you is drive it and then ask yourself is it worth the money , for me it was for some people it’s not .
      By the way I bought my car from Archibald’s in Christchurch New Zealand and was not happy with the way they treated me and presented the car when I was buying , but that has changed agents last month and they have been in touch already . Hope this has been helpful good luck Cheers Chris.

      @@chrisgodfrey5101 Thank you Chris for sharing your ownership experience. This has been helpful. I am planning to buy the 2022 C- class. Jaguar has absolutely no resale value here and it's spares/service could become extremely high since jaguar is becoming all electric car manufacturer by 2025. So as much as I love the Red XE , I am forced to make a more sensible economic decision!!.

    Why would you have the sensor on the offside that's a danger! for the back Hatch, you got handful of shopping and you're trying to open it and you lose your balance and end up falling into the road and get run over yeah sensible, why isn't in the middle of the back of the car or near side?

    May i ask. I ordered my21 XE Rdynamic Black, waiting for it. One thing seems unclear for me. I have full package with everything in the car, on convinience pack is the Gesture Control Boot. Its automaticky electric or its just Gesture without electirc boot lid? THANKS.. CANT wait for the car 👍🙃

    • @aib0160
      @aib0160 Před 3 lety +1

      I had an early XE and the boot release on that was just a spring bias to raise the lid. In other words the lid defaults to open via the spring and the release mechanism just holds it closed.

      @DABroke Před 3 lety +1

      I have the gesture control boot and can confirm its fully electric. Once opened with the foot gesture you need to press the close button on the boot lid to secure the boot again.

      @@DABroke Thank you for your answer David, thats amazing! 😊👍 //edit couldnt find it anywhere, hopefully mine will be the same way, electric boot lid is such a good thing. I was courious because you cant have convinience pack and power boot lid together in Czech Rep configurator.
