Tijana Bošković (Serbian Cyrillic: Тијана Бошковић; born 8 March 1997) is a Serbian volleyball player for the Serbia women's national volleyball team. She won a silver medal with the national team in Rio 2016 Olympic Games, a gold medal at the 2017 CEV European Championship and a gold medal at the 2018 FIVB World Championship, where she was selected as the MVP in two consecutive years. At the 2019 European Volleyball Championship she led her team to clinch the European title for the second time in a row and became the MVP. Being selected as the 2019 CEV Female Volleyball Player of the Year, Bošković has recorded an impressive achievement by receiving that award for the third consecutive year.

She is impressive, but she is no Melissa Teresa Vargas. Tiajana is a great player, but she needs good setting. With Melissa Vargas, you can throw anything anywhere in the air, she is going to get it. There is a video of Melissa Vargas playing Bulgaria, where she does to the ground to dig the ball with her right foot, and while she is still on the ground, the setter returns the service to her.. Melissa then pushes herself from the ground, jumps straight up, hits a cross court laser of a kill and falls back to the ground, on her back... The disbelieving Daniele Santarelli comes and congratulates her by patting her on the stomach, while she is still on the ground. There is no animal out there like Melissa Teresa Vargas (MTV)

But if you watch the full game, her serves were one of the major factors in their win. Poland shanked most of her serves which they converted into points and gave them a comfortable lead. They had many points credited to her and her serves.

You haven't seen much volleyball in your life. When she played in Fenerbahce around 2018, she was a DISASTER ! A talented player is always good, like Boskovic. Vargas is a good player with good training and height, nothing more.

@@pablovandres In 2018, Vargas was 18- going 19. She was playing with a new team, and she was injured that year. It does not matter what she was; what matter is what she is now- and she is the best.
Boskovic was already the best at 18 and she’s the best now.
