Harvest was actually established in the Halo canon a long time before Halo Wars, so it wasn't really a reference to that game. It was more of a reference to the lore itself. Thanks for commenting though. =)

I was so mad when the marine died at the very end! I was like, "NOOOO!!!!! It's not fair!!" lol, but well played, sir. Well played.
I love the Dead Space reference in the beginning. I especially love the fact that unlike the trailer, there's no jump scares. The opening sets the atmosphere and then goes along with the rest of the Machinima. I tip my hat off to you, Lambda.

I know this comment is two years late, but I would like to give you guys my opinion. The overall concept of the machinima was great. I think the dialogue was a bit clique, but you got your point across. I enjoyed the familiar sound effects and the visual effects were a nice touch. Overall I would give it a 7/10. Great job guys. I know a lot of effort went into making this.

This was actually pretty good. Camera work was a little shaky but the voice acting was decent, and the music was pretty cool, it created the appropriate tone/mood. Text effects and the like were nice.

Lambda, this was actually one of the first machinimas I ever saw. It is also possibly the best (except maybe Sector 86, but I'm pretty sure you won't be considerably offended by that).

It's Arbiter617. He is a well know machinima director. He makes Tempus maximus, and he is well known by all for Directing "Rise Of the Spartans"
The fear of the Covenant retaking the ship arose again when they tried to contact the Captain and found out that the Covenant had returned to the system. How could you possibly have missed that? I don't mind people pointing out flaws (especially on videos that are over a year old), but at least try to pay attention. There's nothing worse than someone who tries to point out plot holes that are non-existent.

I remember first seeing dead space, then i clicked on this video thinking it would be good.
Then i hear the music and i'm all like"FUCK THAT SHIT"
The beginning is soooo creepy....I watched this whole series at night....damn near couldn't sleep....

The productions as a whole was done well. The mood was nice and set the tone, though I would like to have felt more scary. I have never seen a machinima that have made me jump because I was scared. If you do a second one, try to go for that. Trying to scare the hell out of your viewer might be a good project in the future. I would stay to something more like this, your good at it. The mood and environment anyway. Glad to see David rocking out in this. This is your best work yet by far.

at the end i remembered that in halo combat evolved you do the same thing but you shoot the reactors and it explodes but then you have to get into a warthog and drive it to a longsword then fly away but then the ship explodes
The captain says to blackburn to bring a squad with and then says theyll need as much help as they can get but when the assistant says they need more help he denies it. He contradicts himself. Nitpick

I say this is pretty well put together. As a halo fan my self, well done following the lore with Harvest. Nice use of music and I hear the OST from Amnesia the dark descent. Couldn't have picked a better suttle sound track my self. A+

Not entirely familiar with HALO franchise but I know a bit or two from it.
I loves your intro with that Twinkle Twinkle Little Star song. Acting was good but with more experience it would become flawless. Try and add more tension-building scenes to set the mood. Really good machinema :)
That's not an error. ODSTs are a part of the UNSC Marine Corps. The term Marine refers to anyone in that branch of service.
