Beautiful Lanzarote using the DJI Mavic Pro drone

- Wonderful insight into the natural beauty of Lanzarote. Seeing several of the island's gems.
Unfortunately, I couldn't use the drone in areas such as Timanfaya National Park (strictly forbidden) but I think I've managed to get a good impression of the wild, volcanic past of this incredible place full of contrasts and colour.
DJI Mavic Pro - droning around an island - Lanzarote, Canary Islands. Using official DJ ND filter set, custom settings, colour grading using D-log and montaged in Final Cut Pro.

You can link and give credit, but unless your blog is advert free and not monetized then unfortunately I can't let you use any of my footage directly in your own videos or take any screen grabs to show on your blog. This is due to Spanish drone laws which forbid the usage of footage for commercial use unless you have the relevant licensing. For this reason my Lanzarote video isn't monetized... ☺

No, but you don't need one so long as you're not using the footage for commercial use afterwards. Otherwise so long as you respect the basic rules of drone usage in Europe then you'll be fine (i.e. not above 120m from point of take off, not above crowds, always in line of sight etc...)

You can bring a drone - but you need to check the latest rules (they keep getting tougher). So long as you don't fly in the big national park, stay away from people and also the usual like not flying near an airport/military base etc then you'll be fine. However, you won't be able to make any commercial activity without the relevant license from the Spanish authorities.

elionatira Gracie - thanks for your comment. The environment on Lanza is really alien, wild, strong, powerful and unpredictable (it's volcanic after all) this is why I chose this music :-) ...rather than something conventional :)
