I think we have a pretty similar scent profile that we lean towards. When you described your venue I immediately thought of Serge Lutens La Fille De Berlin.
I love this! I wish I’d been more into perfume when i was getting married. If you’re ever interested in indie perfume, alkemia perfumes do so many beautiful ones I think you’d love. The sensual seductions sample set is my favorite. Particularly if you wanted a different scent for the honeymoon! A few have some beautiful pheromone note additions. They’re pretty affordable too, the one ounce alcohol based spray is $45.
maybe you could have your second choice for the rehearsal dinner and one for the actual wedding day if it gets too hard to decide ?

Oh, J., you've got the perfume bug & you've got it bad. ;). I've had it for many decades now but I certainly didn't have Xerjoff to smell in my early thirties. Enjoy the ride! I find fragrance to be life changing. My favorite "thing" to do, too. :). That was cool of Twisted Lily to send you all the nice samples.

Have you tried “Portrait of a Lady” from Frederic Malle? It’s a GORGINA scent and has incredible lasting power. Would love to see you try it!

how do you feel about Byredo perfumes?? Before I got married, my fiancee and I went to a Byredo store randomly while we were shopping and ended up picking our wedding scents there!! He got Bal D'Afrique and I got gypsy water !!!
