There was a blog post the day that the fusions were announced that said everyone playing during Global Fest will get a Special Research that rewards a Cosmog encounter, and then everyone who buys the Global ticket will get an additional encounter with either a Solgaleo or Lunala plus respective energy.

Damn no need to hate even if he missed it. We still need multiple to get both fusion. Yea u can unfuse everytime but need multiple to always have one of each. They may give us more chances to get multiple we don’t no exactly what they’ll do for the research
That kinda sucks knowing solgaleo and lunala raids aren’t actually confirmed. My two cosmogs are bad and on top of that I really wanted a shiny solgaleo
COSMOEM IS GONNA BE IN RAIDS. Why does everyone forget that when cosmos was released, the blog page said "you will be able to get more cosmoem from raids in the future" ?

It doesn't matter if they are bad. IVs come from Necrozma. They're purely ingredients. It's even a waste of you'd leveled them up as it doesn't matter.

In the blog post for the Go fest and about the fusions i swear it said you can get a free cosmog from a special research and if you have the paid ticket, you get additional research for an encounter with Lunala or Solgaleo

On Saturday, ticket-holding Trainers will be able to complete exclusive Special Research to learn more about the Mythical Pokémon Marshadow-and have an opportunity to encounter one!
Then, on Sunday, adventure through a free Special Research story to learn more about Ultra Wormholes and encounter Cosmog.
Ticket-holding Trainers will receive extended branching Special Research that includes encounters with Solgaleo or Lunala, as well as Solar Fusion Energy or Lunar Fusion Energy.
GUYS! Dont you remember when cosmog got released? When that happened, on the blog page it said that you would be able to get cosmoem from raids in the future!!

Niantic already confirmed that everyone playing will receive a free special research that rewards a Cosmog encounter and those that choose to buy the additional ticket will receive yet another special research that rewards either a solgaleo or lunala encounter so those players that purchase the ticket could just get for example a solgaleo from the paid research and then evolve the free cosmog into a lunala and have both..or vice versa
I have 3 cosmog so far, (the free research and 2 of the starry skies research) and this will bring it up to 5

I have two Solgaleos, both obtained in trades. The second one thankfully gave me goods IVs, 15/13/15. No lunala yet in the dex
i am happy i got a solgaleo and 2 cosmog from 2022 and 2023 and i grind some rare candy and walk

I started in 2017, played hard when it was only Gen 1 and 2, then quit for nearly 7 years and only started playing again a month ago. Since starting again I've completed the Special Research 'A Cosmic Companion' but I didn't pay anything to get it. Is that a backdated research?

Im ready for necrozama just sucks you cant get the shiny yet unless you go in person if you remote raid them you wont be able to get the shiny until it goes live worldwide during global go fest thats when everyone will be able to get the shiny unless you attend the events in person.

If I level my Lunala up and then the fuse comes out. Will the fuse cp be based of Necrosma or since I have a good Lunala the cp will be around 3900 or so you know. Help idk what to invest in. I have a lucky Lunala

It makes sense if they drop Lunala and Solgaleo raids & upon catching it, it’s cosmog!
they should place cosmog in 3 star raid or 1 star raids problem solved
Its still easy and has terrible stats, you can solo a 5 star cosmog
I have 6 Cosmog and 1 Cosmoem. None of them are any good. Also fusion seems really expensive which means it'll be like Roar of Time, not really worth doing often
