What a career. The last strike he landed in his career was a headkick.
Broke back mountain
Honestly the strike that he’ll be remembered for because he headkicks were like no other
Yea, last couple years of being a punching bag was damn awesome
@@Aquamatiic Best headkick combo in the game
@Kobefrm2L Nate is a punching bag himself though
Man, I'm going to miss Cerrone. Enjoy retirement, hof legend.
Broke Back Mountain
NOT
HOF ain’t for journeymen
Lol based on what? His losses?
@@COYGio you are new
He just turned 39 a couple months ago, still has all the time in the world to explore new opportunities with a different career and wish him nothing but the best.
he had already taken too much damage. let him rest.
@Bgmi Supresor 99% of mma fighters arent as rich as khabib. stupid point
@Bgmi Supresor early retirement? 😂😂😂 peoples were advising him to retire back in 2016.
How do you know he has all the time in the world? What if he drops dead right now? You fools take life for granted.
@@elafzal5866 thats why he kept fighting until he stopped loving it you donut. did what he loved until he didn't love it anymore
I have to say that was probably one of the best retirement speechs/scene in the ufc. World class and from the heart. Can't wait to see you on the big screen Cowboy!
He has a movie out right now with Gina Carano called "Terror on the Prairie"
@@tor3699 he loses that fight too 😂
@@tor3699 yea I also just watched the terminal list on Amazon and he's in the last episode so he's getting there forsure. I thought he was just putting it out there but looks like he's really trying to make a move into the traditional entertainment business
He thought us a valuable lesson, if he can become a UFC fighter you can too!
He sexually assaulted women and was a racist.
Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone…
Props to him for knowing when to hang it up.
One of the most legendary MMA fighters of all time. Never was in a boring fight. Always was active, fighting 5-6 times a year in his prime. Enjoy retirement legend you deserve it
Knowing when to hang it up.. Right... Like 3 years late
If he knew when to hang up he would have retired years ago. He's been nothing but a punching bag for years.
He should have hung em up after Hernandez. Would have been nice to go out with a win
He thought us a valuable lesson, if he can become a UFC fighter you can too!
He was a true depiction of "Ready to fight whenever and wherever".
What a great fighter he was. He'll be missed
@Jonnhy Van Sebastianen Casual
@Weed causes brain damage 🧠 he's 36-17 he's lost alot because his last 5 fights were against gaethje Tony Ferguson McGregor niko price and Anthony Pettis also weed doesn't cause brain damage
hasn't won a fight in 10 years....finally got out before he got really hurt, movie star???LMFAO
I know right 99th losing streak and he will still get the hall of famer status, very similar to Bispings.
@Jonnhy Van Sebastianen Dudes a horrible human being, you can read his wikipedia controversies page that spans 10 paragraphs, dudes a loser. Glad to see him get koed and subbed into retirment
What a man. Enjoy your rest champ.
@LySil Wtf is that supposed to mean?
@LySil Dude really asked how is he a man :DD
@LySil my profile pic is my reaction to you
interview soon? would love to hear about the this movie career!
A UFC legend it’s amazing what he’s achieved.
Yeah, the most losses in UFC history, so amazing 👏
@@Paul-sl9zm yeah uh Jeremy stephens holds that record good try though
@@Paul-sl9zm um sir you apparently haven’t watched his fights from his prime and how badass he was
@Paul you must be new to this sport if you haven’t seen his old fights he’s an old guy now beat up and will most likely lose.
He thought us a valuable lesson, if he can become a UFC fighter you can too!
Man it’s hard watching him say he doesn’t love it anymore man, after years of watching him fight and him always being so hyped! How I will miss this man fighting 🥲
*I'm proud to say that I've had the privilege of watching Cowboy's entire career. Donald Cerrone is the epitome of a warrior.*
Ahh man this is truly an end of an era. This man has fought many mighty fighters before their stardom and I have huge respect for him. If you have a favorite fighter, Donald Cerrone has most definitely stared them down. Hope he does well with his next line of work.
Think about that - he almost fought Khabib at one point.
@@samstone011995 I forgot about that lmao
@@samstone011995 khabib pulled out 2 times 😂😂

He thought us a valuable lesson, if he can become a UFC fighter you can too!
The fighter that got me into MMA
You will be missed Cowboy
That fight where he beat the hype off that alex kid is one of the best cowboy moments, also that great combo he did, oh and every beautiful headkick ko he has that looks almost casual for him. Like boom out of nowhere head kicks and walks off. You may have never been champ but we love you cowboy.
Been watching him since as long as I've been a UFC fan and its sad to see him go, but he has taken so much damage in his career that it's also a relief. Farewell Cowboy.
I remember watching him in wec. Always a hell of a fight with him in the octagon 💪
Jim letting Donald do his retirement speech before being interviewed, that was absolute class right there.
Who jim?
A legend, in and out of the Octagon. Will always be remembered for what he accomplished in this sport. Thank you Cowboy, we’re so thankful to have watched you
We'll miss this man. Ride far Cowboy!
An absolute legend of the game! A pioneer!
*He Was On A 6 Fight Losing Streak... It Was Gonna Get Worse If He Didn't*
He's been a favorite of mine for a decade. It's been tough being a huge fan of his. Lot's of highs and lows. So many times he was right there about to become Champion and then, well you know. One of the best , an all time great.
We're getting old dude, most of our favs are retired, thanks a lot for entertained us, Cowboy future hall of famer

If there's any fighter that embodies the three letters *UFC* it's Cowboy! Legend! Anyone, anywhere, anytime. Headkicks, beer and bonuses is how I'll remember him. How will you?
😢... All the best cowboy! It was a pleasure watching your legendary career👏
Big respect to you legend and thanx you for everything you the man 🙏🏼💪🏼
He lost his last 6 fights and had a NC (no contest). At that point it's like breaking up with a toxic girlfriend, you love it so much for so long you're willing to take the beatings until you can't find an ounce of hope or love left. Farewell legnend Cerrone, you sacrificed so much for us all. Thank you.
What a career🙌🏼 well done Cowboy. Chase your dreams
Thank you Mister Donald Cowboy Cerrone.

Cowboy is a true fighter! All the best to him!
The theme that played in my head as he was putting his gloves in his hat,
"Far Away" - José González. IYKYK

Hearing his voice start to break really hit me in the feels. He will always be one of my favorite fighters.

Hope he joins WWE as a part-timer, Donald will do great in WWE along side with Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey
My favorite fighter. True champion. The way he carries himself and the way he loves and treats his family friends and fans. I have so much respect for him

Me and many others are in tears. Breaks hearts. You will be missed.
A true legend. Cowboy vs McGregor was the fight that made me a MMA fan. Although he lost that fight, the mystique of "cowboy" drew me into his fights even more. Cowboy will go down as one of the most badass UFC fighters that would ever touch the octagon. Cowboy forever ❤
Cowboy vs Mcgregor?
That fight was like 2 years ago, casual.
If knew anything about MMA, you would know Cowboy has the most losses in UFC history
🤣
Cowboy vs McGregor made you a MMA fan?😂

Crazy. I remember watching the TAPOUT show and seeing "Cowboy, Cowboy" for the first time. Damn good fighter. Respect.
1:19 Twin boys. He is a lucky guy. And I haven’t heard him trash talking for at least the 4 or 5 years I’ve watched him fight. Not that I was a fan of his fighting, but respect him for giving time to his beautiful children.
