Hi you know the connection for the speed sensor I have one the same of this , I know one going in the pin 16 and other to earth wire but the last one I not have idea

most probably below layer of the display will fade changing the below one is enough . when you remove the display if u identified that the top layer also damaged then change that one also but most of the time only bottom layer will get damaged
This call linior polarizer. Which u have to place according to the display background which u want. Like dark or light background. If at certain angle if u are having light display background with black letters. When u rotate the film 90 degrees you will get back background with clear letters
