This is a very simple mod that will gain you 30 FPS. I was really expecting to open this up and have to do more work, but a spring upgrade is really all you need unless you want to go for a full brass breach system. I may end up doing that in the future, but this was very effective when I used it at the Naptown Nerf Club war the next day.

@@NaptownNerf What 10 kg spring fits the mediator? Is it the sentinel, because that is the only one I see.

Do it! easiest spring change ever! Just make sure to line the catch spring up nicely before closing. had to reopen mine after change because it was engaging automatically after priming.
If you put the plunger rod at an angle and pry it out then you can take it out.

When you say the spring is almost the same as a retaliator spring. Will it work with a worker 7kg retaliator kit
I tried and it works well. Don't need a catch spring upgrade as the stock's itself is good enough.
It can take the 12 but the catch spring must be replaced
Last week I woke up and went to make video about Mediator, but it didn`t work! I attempted to mod it, but it didn`t help, after watching your video, I "fixed it" and it still working! Thanks!!!
I noticed that my adventure force accufakes did not work well with my none modified mediator

I recently bought the mediator blaster and i am tempted to mod it. Btw i am a beginner at modding.
Can I remove the ratcheting system from the blaster and will it work fine without it?

The highest fps I've gotten was 74, but 61-67 is the most common. For sure I'll be modding it soon

I’m a big fan of the mediator, just because of how much I love pump action springers, but before I pull the trigger on the turf spring, how stiff would you say the prime with the 10kg spring is? I’m not a child by any means, I’m a 20 year old male, but I’m not Dwayne Johnson either. So is the prime reasonable, is the ability to slam fire super impractical with that spring load? Or would the 8kg spring be a better option? Thanks again, love the the content!
The prime is very reasonable and very easy in my opinion.

Hey so I've got a 7 kilo spring in mine but I'm getting 65-75 fps(using a chronobarrel, and elite darts) average, which is in the range of fps that I've seen in other reviews. 80 fps with xshot darts, but those will increase fps in most blaster. I feel as though something isn't working as well as it should. Will I get better results with a 9 kilo spring or am I missing something?

The caps are on the retaliator too. You just need to pull it out at an angle
Cool. Yeah I'm sure if I messed with it a little bit longer I could've figured out a way to get it out, but didn't really see the need. Plus I wanted this ready for a war the following day. Probably will go back some point and possibly brass breach this and mess with it then.
