Lake District Walks | Boat How, Illgill Head & Whin Rigg | Wainwright's Southern Fells

  • This 9.75 mile route is a linear walk, using the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway as transport to and from the start and end.
    The "short cut" we took involved a short pathless section on the descent from Boat How.
    Steep ascent to Illgill Head, but after that the majority of the climbing is done.

    Great walk and and really enjoyed your video. Nice part of the Lake District is Miterdale and Wasdale.
