This guy is no SF native and doesn’t know squat. Go to Torpedo Wharf and Pier at the Presidio or Fort Point by Lands End. Get some crab traps and buy some canned dog food. Check every few hours. From an SF Fireman (Ret.) Happy crabbing!
You forgot to mention Ocean Beach they have good crabbing out there.
Talks about Half Moon Bay, shows Galapagos Islands.
Rename this to Bay area crapping!
Torpedo Wharf in SF! You can catch Rock Crab within the Bay, by Dungys are still a no-no
Dungies are allowed at Public piers outside the bay. Lands End Ft. point. Boat fishing for Dungies is forbidden inside the GG.
@@tommytwogloves16 yup Pacifica pier is a good spot for Dungies. I’ve went to Pedro Point Pier in El Granada a few times also but only caught babies every time.
Thanks for the share! Pacifica Pier definitely attracts more people. Who can beat Free Fishing! I myself avoid the pier if possible. Further up north is nice and secluded, but man those winding roads along the coast...🤮🤢.
Great info!
TY! And yes, you can never complain about free fishing or crabbing. I have gotten sick on those winding roads along the coast a few times in my life!
👍
I’m trying to actually find piers that you can use the crab net I’m not much of a crab snare type of person. Do you know any of the other locations that would be more suitable? I do go to port baker. But we want to explore.
You gotta get a boat these days crab has been overfished in the area and I’m not trying be racist but the Asians do not care about limits and overfish the crap out of locations and they’ll throw the fish in the trash if they see wildlife rangers
It’s “Baker” beach and you left out Ocean beach, plenty of room and very accessible by car or public transit.
This is a San Francisco Bay Area crabbing video.
Did you know there are 400 more miles north of S.F.?
What about Municipal Pier?
I love the Municipal Pier, but you can't keep dungeness there, great for rock crab though. (it's the one in SF Bay)
The photos you showed were not the real places. !
“Munincipal”? Lol
#1 is the worst. Lol
Right??!!?? Cause then everyone goes there first! But there's a lot of good options. You first have to start with just going.
