Just finished installing this kit on my 2017 general 4. I was impressed on the fitment of this kit. My machine came factory with Walker Evans shocks, I didn't have to flip them and my machine looks much better and rides great.. thanks for the video.
Very informative! But if you have 3 stage fox shocks, you will have to switch sides on the back. Also on the 2018 the relay is not on the back. Overall I am very pleased with this product. The bolts and the nuts have 2 different sizes. 14mm and 15mm
Brandon Alford No. I had the Fox Qs3’s so all I had to do was swap sides. They still stay upright though. Much better ground clearance up front, so I don’t have to remove my plow bracket. Only down side is the change to turning radius. It’s not terrible, but you do notice it.
I just purchased this kit for my 2018 General 4 1000 and didn't realize I needed to install steering stop bushings. Do I really need to install the bushings? I don't want to lose my steering radius. What's the downside to skipping that step and not installing them?
Definitely not an easy install... the video shows all you need is hand tools...... nowhere near true. Bolts are on tighter than a ticks ass and you definitely need an impact and a right angle impact if you wanna even attempt this.

What lift do you use for your side by sides

So you just put the adjustment bottles on the bottom? I don’t understand?... and swap shocks on the rear?
If you have a general deluxe with fox shocks then you need a different kit
@@thomasbates5157 if you put aftermarket rims and tires on it you don’t need to do anything with your shocks
Right rear bracket hits my exhaust right where the shock bolts on, how much room am I supposed to have 2017 general 4 1000
You should be able to clear the exhaust. Give us a call so we can dig into this a bit more and get it resolved, 855.743.3427.
What is the purpose of flipping the shock?
I believe it’s for stock rim and tire clearance
Not needed if you have 10 in rims all the way around
Will this work on a ride command edition that has reservoir shocks?
No, this is not the same kit u need for the general deluxe.
Thomas Bates I got this kit, and it worked just fine.
Ok, it looks totally different than the one I installed on a 2019 general deluxe with the fox shocks. 👍
@@AV8R_1 did you flip shocks?

It is to protect your outer cv from over extending and causing the to break when you are in the gas with the steering wheel fully turned one way.
Whats the purpose of the clip in the steering rack?
