Morning enjoy all your videos especially the ones were you talk about baleage I do 100% baleage between 3500 to 4000 bales for our dairy cows and Heifers. I bale alfalfa red clover winter Rye oats peas and oats and sorghum it all makes excellent baleage I'll be watching to see how they eat itthe only thing I do different is I like to slice at all thanks for your time you don't see this on any other channels

I bet those bad bales would make some killer compost. I would love to have those bad bales for my garden.

Just one word of caution.... be aware of " nitrate poisoning " !! I used sorghum for 7 yrs... until one morning I found 9 first calf heifers dead. No other old cows were harmed The cause was nitrate poisoning.A younger animal is more susceptible. With a lot of luck everything is great ! Great feed !

Just feed it they will pick through it. throw the moldy bales in the feed lot at least for bedding they will eat the good hay and sougrum and leave the rest for bedding it's cost effective that way moldy hay won't bother cows unless they are caving. Once it freezes you won't have any waste. Your doing a great job Ben love your videos keep up the great work.

I'm happy for you; job well done! Truly enjoy your videos, keep em' coming. Take us on the road, when you go to buy cattle. Would like to see them rounded up, loaded onto the trailer; then unloaded at your farm. Would something like that be possible?

@@veesercattleco.4111 Ben, your doing one hell of a job! To take a 2nd job, in order to infuse the farm with additional cash which will undoubtedly take the operation to the next level ; is more than just admirable. In fact, you have my utmost respect will ALL that you've done, doing and plan to do. Your a team player, no problem in stepping up; doing what needs to be done. Sacrifices don't spook you. In addition, you take damn good care of your family; very important. You continually share your vision on these videos; I like that. You also are not afraid of admitting to a mistake you made; and are able to laugh about it! THAT'S HUGE!!! Adds a real nice personal touch to your videos 😁. Your motivated, hustle, enjoy working hard, straight shooter with a good solid head on your shoulders. You also learn from your mistakes; yet not afraid to try something different or new in order to advance your goals. Your farm, undoubtedly will be more successful each & every year. True pleasure watching your videos. Learn more and more each & every time 🐄 🐮.

By sorghum I assume you mean sorghum sudan grass as opposed to grain sorghum? Pardon my lack of knowing if you showed or said it before.
