I love reading the comments in this thread about "the way to do it" & "that's not the way we do it." What people don't realize is that there are regional variations and simplification done to this dance. As a mobile dj for the past 20 years, I find this to be the most authentic version of two of the moves that are simplified by most of the masses.....the "Le stomp" part where the foot is kicked out before placing it down and the actual cha cha step inserted.....yes folks, it's the CHA CHA slide and there is an original quick cha cha step done in the original video and instructions I found when this dance first came out. The dancers here only make a mistake in the original instructions in the Charlie Brown. The original instructions I found when this dance was brand new describe the Charlie Brown move as "Leap onto your front foot while simultaneously doing a small kick backwards with the rear foot.....and then alternate to leap onto the back foot and do a small kick forwards with the front foot on the next stead beat. The dancers here do a scissors move which is not the Charlie Brown.
My judgement for all the dancers participating in this dance; 1. The girl in the middle (front)...Your doing it right 2.. the girl in the left (with the skirt)...pls don’t wear a skirt next time, your underwear may pop out of ur legs. 3. The girl in the right...u lost control of your legs 4. The x shirted girl/guy...when life reverses, you need preparation. 5. The girl in the right, behind the crazy legs...I barely saw you, but I think u did better than crazy legs, they should switch u with crazy legs. 6. Tall dude in the back... um...please DANCE
