This was the pro bowl... could you imagine how intense regular season games were? Sheesh
Never Sober Part of the AFC Unlucky 13 era :)
RIP Junior Seau, Cortez Kennedy, and Derrick Thomas
Matthew Shortle You’re also forgetting Reggie White
Cortez Kennedy passed? I never knew that.
@@Jdub14000 Yeah it was in 2017 if I remember.
@@nathanscott8598 and you forgetting Sam mills!!!
Sadly add Chris Doleman to the RIP list.
Remember when the players took the Pro Bowl seriously?
@Mike The Scott the fuk?
@Mike The Scott You even admitted you're wrong.
Unless you were injured, the best players back then WANTED to play in the Pro Bowl.
Why would you risk injury for a game that doesnt even matter?
@Mike The Scott That reference went right over everyone's heads.
This was back when the Pro Bowl resembled an actual football game. The only hard hit you'll see in today's Pro Bowl game is if a fan runs onto the field and gets tackled by security.
Hall of Famers all over the place.
Steve Tasker, the unsung hero of this game
He wasn't that unsung. He won Pro Bowl MVP. He should receive stronger HOF consideration than he has. No one was ever as good as him on special teams. He could change a game with a tackle, a block, a strip, a fumble recovery.
Luke Enno I agree
@@MGAF688 definately one of the great special teamers, really hard to say the best though with such a rich history
7:58 Barry Sanders...unreal.
jr seau got juke badly
Reminds me of saquon
Man..I had to cleanse my brain of the 2022 probowl so I rushed right to this video!!!...ahhh much better😌
Me too lol
Only if we could see a Pro Bowl like this nowadays
I personally dont wanna see anyone get injured for a game that doesnt even count
I'm glad they don't play hard. That game has always felt useless
@@kylebailey1732 people like you the reason the nfl gets less fun every year. Football is a physical sport if you don't want to get hurt don't play it in the first place bring the competitive drive these players had back
@@jpinfinity3758 You’re such a meathead… These players get paid way too much money for them to take this exhibition game seriously just to impress smalldicks like you. Newsflash… The reason the game is the way it is now is because star players got injured in the pro bowl… Just because it makes your tiny halloween snickerdick hard doesn’t mean it’s a good thing.
@@evilsWa I wouldn't be talking, especially with your obsession with dicks and all. Eunuch
Legends and very awesome players for a long time in this game AND they took it semi-seriously. I actually enjoyed watching the game around this time. It was towards the late '90s where my interest severely waned.
SPTO you and me both. I remember looking so forward to the Pro Bowl as a kid. I thought it was so cool watching all these great players with the same jerseys and different team helmets. I probably haven’t watched a Pro Bowl since ‘97 or ‘98. It just isn’t the same anymore.
When the best players WANTED to go.
Steve young doesn’t get enough credit. An absolute machine
Still has the best super bowl performance in my book, great player.
My all time favorite QB. The dirty secret is that Bill Walsh preferred Young to Montana.
@@jasondownsnet For good reason. He is better than montana was (both are top 10 QBs though don't get it twisted)
Amazing QB, could run and throw, what other let-handed QB can compare?
Good hits, good players, good show! I wish i was alive to see these good pro bowls!
So many all time greats 🔥
Is Kittle the next all time great 👀 👀
MinkahFitzGoat #FinsUp Yeah he’s probably the next Tony Gonzalez but a better blocker.
Now that was some fun football to watch. 16:30. Rip Derrick Thomas
I never saw these old pro bowls
RIP Junior Seau.
One of the best Pro Bowls from the game's best era. I actually have a couple of the jerseys worn in this game and a handful of the backups/photoshoot worn ones too.
Primetime ❤️❤️❤️
It’s crazy to see all of these future Hall of Famers on one field, most of whom were still in there prime. And guys actually had enough respect and integrity for the game and the fans to play hard throughout. This was a legitimately good and competitive game played by a number of all time greats to ever play the game.
I Remember this game like it was yesterday..My Freshman year in college..We had Late Hits&everything in this game...Good Ol Days..
Steve"A Tisker A" Tasker.. Man this was like watching a Hall of Fame All-star game. Great
Good grief Steve Young was running for his life in this game!
Yeah u see that AFC D line?? U would be 2
Thanks for uploading these Pro Bowl highlight videos!
Some of those plays, man! Beast!
That generation were grown men- played with heart-they didn’t get a trophy just for competing in their day- now they always take the easy way out- that is why they won’t tackle anymore in Pro-Bowl…
The Bills were so upset by how they played in the super bowl, they wanted to make sure they showed out for the pro bowl
I loved the Pro Bowl in the 80's and 90's.
I'M LEFT HANDED, BUT DAMN LEFTY'S THROW FUNNY!!!
Pro bowl week, who's hyped for a game this weekend
Nah. Refs soured everything
No
I am! I like the Pro Bowl.
I am, wish they properly incentivized players to play hard tho
Wow young lead the league in td' s with just 25. The game was so psychical back then not like now!
Thanks for this upload! Great seeing all these hall of famers. I miss seeing Steve Young play this was great, definitely blast from the past!
I understand The Pro Bowl means nothing in the grand scheme of things but I remember watching this Pro Bowl & being amazed. You can tell all these players loved playing the game of football; & it was an opportunity for them to showcase their extraordinary talent & to play along side (& against) the best of the best. This' the kind of passion & competitiveness that got me into the NFL & for the same reason those great players were selected to play in that most memorable (although meaningless) All-Star Pro Bowl spectacular. I miss those days &, of course, the beloved players who are no longer with us.
Wow ! Players flying around , big hits, big catches. Seemed like players really wanted it back then. So many legends on the field. So much different then the pro bowl nowadays
They were hitting harder in this pro bowl than any regular or playoff game the last10 years
Fact lol
Miss the 90s
Truly a different era just about all these pro bowlers are Hall of Famers.
So many legends and Lavatory specimens on one field
As I get older 35, I realize how football today sucks compared to when I was younger
Watching Derrick Thomas just brings me emotions.Raw talent and sacked tons of HOF QBs.Even though I didn’t get to see him play when I was alive, still my favorite defender along Berry and Sean T
I feel like Berry will never be the same again (obviously hoping for the best though)
Back when the pro bowl was worth a watch
All legends and hof's.
You knew they took these games serious back then they put the starter quarterback(Steve young) back in the 4th
Like - Rams
Comment - Patriots
I’m going Rams
Go new England
Pats
GOAT
Couldn't possibly care less as long as the refs aren't paid off as it has appeared in the playoffs for at least the last 2 years.
TheArc37. Pats pay the refs
So weird watching old pro bowls when they actually put forth effort
Free agents playing. Superbowl winners playing. Reggie White playing special teams. Helmet tackles. On astroturf. 90s football.
Wow man. What a game. They were hitting out there.
Son of a.....they are playing like it's the super bowl
Fantasy football could never survive during this era. Steve Young led the league with 25 tds. Let that sink in for a second.
Back when the Pro Bowl wasn’t a joke.
The Pro Bowl, like the NBA Allstar game use to be awesome. With all the big names and the competitive element, those were the days. From the 80's to the early 2000's, you don't see it anymore.
Probably because players realized it doesn't make sense getting injured during a meaningless game. I am w/you for NBA though, that should be somewhat competitive in the second half at least.
Imagine if they played pro bowls with todays stars old school in Hawaii after the Super bowl! What a great game!
Howie Long was a Beast!! 💪🏼💪🏼☠️
Forgot how good the Pro Bowl was when players actually tried.
That were the good old days of real Pro Bowl I really miss it alot
When real men played in the pro bowl- know its two hand touch
Incredible the list of Hall of Famers playing with such ferocity! And they play to go into OT. Exceptional plays by legends. I'm a Dolphin fan but Steve Tasker was special. He did the same thing he did to Leon Lett. Plus the block kick that Raider returned for td. Typically, my beloved Marino can't make a play in a big game. Where else can you see 50 yard bomb Farve to Rice. Just paused to comment on this spectacular spectacle. Now, back to OT. Wonder if NFC wins again cause AFC is snakebit. Have binge watched a couple dozen not remembering the winners. Because the Pro Bowl is no more!!!
Love ❤ the Rodney Hampton TD
They are over times in the pro bowl? You learn something new everyday
Back when my parents couldn't afford cable tv. Glad I get to watch it now. thanks dad!
The ball broke the plane on that Watters 4th & goal.
Seau what a specimen!
11:39 I notice MARINO is back into game replacing NEIL O’DONNELL whom had just thrown an INT directly to Tim McDonald ( his M.O. ).
Really shows that the AFC was interested in winning in that they re-inserted the starting QB after sitting him for the day.
Soon after the NFC reinserted their starter Steve Young.
This was more entertaining than almost all of the playoff games this year. I wish they could hit like this again.
Never Sober yea they were good games but the game isn’t as fair now a Days. Besides running the ball, it’s 7 on 7, wrap up football. The offense can do what they want when they pass, and the defense has to be virtually flawless in technique.
@@11jcarter I think it puts more an emphasis on skill, getting "goons" out of the game who just like hitting. Same thing's happening with hockey and it's awesome.
@@JackRule16 Getdafuqouttahere with that crap. Just admit youre soft.
Classic, Old school football at its best!!! This game itself, should be in the HOF along with all of the players!!!
Now that the pro bowl game not no flag football
Dang, this is when I just started to get into football as a kid. I was a Niner fan and something like 9 Niners went to the Pro Bowl that year. I think this is when they talked to Dion about coming to the Niners. I totally forgot Pierce Holt made it. That NFC backfield is wicked. Two goats in the same backfield???
i wish they played like this in the pro bowl nowadays
What. A. Game.
Is there gonna be any more Hard Knocks uploads?
Whatever happened with Andre Risen? He fell off quickly
Edit: damn I love how they actually playing for real
I think he signed with a different team and stop caring about football when he got a fat paycheck
He ended up with the Packers, Chiefs and the Raiders after the Falcons.
That was aweso
Just came here after watching 2022 pro bowl. Nfl should be embarrassed
Damn this was a lot of fun
9:12 what a beautiful pass
I would love it if today's game had this much energy. Was the Robert Edwards injury what caused players to stop playing hard?
They should only let players make pro bowl if they actually gonna play for real
The Rodney Hampton touchdown was my favorite
Wish they stuck with these pro bowl uniforms and kept playing in Hawaii. But what do I know I'm unemployed
Can you do the Ravens vs Giants super bowl? Not known as an exiting game but all time great defense like 2000 Ravens make it noteworthy
I like Pro Bowl from the early 90s NFL cheerleader 1990 through 1993 era are so much
14:22 damn
When the Pro Bowl meant something.
The present day Pro Bowl gives a bad name to touch football
My favorite Pro Bowl parts are the Mascots!!! Maybe the full Pro Bowl games could be uploaded.
Steve Tasker
Back when Pro Bowls were good and they actually tried
Been watching past Pro Bowl games today after yet another uncompetitive Pro Bowl this year.
Sterling Sharpe and Jerry Rice on the same field , classic Shit , The Goat and the Trojan horse reciever , both won the triple crown in their respective careers
should have put aikman back in
Chuck Cecil!
people layin wood out there for a pro bowl game!
Holy shit the pro bowl used to actually play!!
Oh yeah yeah
10:37 Jeff Fisher in coaching shorts, look to be about 7-9 inches long there
i love your fucking channel!
Steve Tasker #hof
AFC needed that because they were in the middle of losing like 13 straight Superbowls to the NFC
3:22 This is 1993! If you have 25 TD NOW, you might be.....10th.
Yet Lamar Jackson is about to win the MVP with 24 passing TD’s and 3,600 yards smh. NFL is watered down now..
I'm glad Steve Young threw those 2 interceptions to start the game because he was only trying to throw to his San Fran teammates, icing out everyone else in the game 🙄
junior seau was a beast
I bet 9:15-9:18 doesn't even happen if they weren't wearing Tommie Copper.
