Just read the instructions and for those of you looking. The left and right triggers can not be remaped to a paddle which is what I need. I also had and elite that did allow for that. I got to work with a combo of button remapping and ingame key bindings but over all for a 200+ controller disapointed those buttons can't be remap
YEah that sucks. Would be handy to ADS and shoot on those. I went will go with melee and ping location on them.
idk if your on pc or console but if your on pc you can use steam config to remap it for you
@@JoJo-oz1ry out of curiosity, will this work OUTSIDE of steam? I have the standalone copy of FFXIV, and would be forced to rebuy the entire content series if so. Triggers to paddles would be GODLY for me!

@Verde._.star227 I think you can? I'll test it in about 10 min. But coming from the V2 to the scuff is night and day. Quite honestly man the V2 doesn't warrant the price with as many problems ive had with it. Mine became unusable after 3 months and had to send it back. And then same problem occurred with stick drift. Certain buttons won't work and the rubber peeled up after two months as well

Fixed my problem thank you. Weird thing was the profiles wouldn’t switch or work at all until I turned night mode off

By the way you don't need to keep pressing the remap button after you map one button every time, you can remap one button then do the next button then the next button and so on.

Some people are having difficulties witch Xbox, when paddles don't work and the lights don't turn on > Disable night mode, if enabled, and set the LED lights to 100% power again.

Might be a stupid I, but Google couldn't help. I don't have one yet, but I plan to. My question is: can you assign only certain buttons to the paddles or also combinations? For example, can I have one paddle do RB+A or maybe even like one paddle is holdRT+B or any such stuff? Thanks.
Good question, but from what I’ve seen and tested it’s pretty simple just one button. I’m not 100% sure but fairly confident. It’s not as customizable as the elite but far better imo and I’ve had both. There isn’t an app where you can map the buttons you do it all on the controller. Hope this helps you make the best decision! Good luck!

Hey man I just baught my first scuf controller. It's just the instinct not a pro. I've attempted all the different possibilities and follow the same instructions but when I got to bind my paddles with my A,B,X and Y it never works. Please help
try this step by step. 1)press profile button until you see the color of the profile you want. 2) Press profile button again but hold it until it starts to blink. 3) now simultaneously press the paddle and the button you would like to map it to. 4) To save it, simply press the profile button. The profile light will stop blinking. I hope this helps.

How do you remove the bind ? For example leave it unmapped . Like for example. The left side of the controller the back has two hassle left and right on one side correr ? I stay clicking the paddle to the left by mistake when clicking the one to the right
I am not sure if you can have it unmapped to nothing at all. Many people have been asking this question. I think in time, you will get used to it and not hit that paddle by mistake.

Dude I can’t find this answer anywhere, can I have the back paddles as there own button? Like map it so in game I can bound an item to say P4 like the series 2 or does the scuff paddle have to mapped to B Y RB etc

I don’t think so, the paddles on the back on the instinct pro are permanent and not removable.

Mine doesn't map. Got it new out of box, paired to Xbox. Went to map the back paddles and when I press them at the same time no white light appears just stays flashing. Only works on B but doesn't save. I reset the controller profiles but when I test the buttons in the accessories app the P1 paddle doesn't have anything mapped by default even though it should be. Any ideas

I was trying to see how to map one of the paddle to nothing because I keep pressing the one right under the right trigger by accident because of how my hands are messed up because of my condition
If you can’t map it to do nothing you can always map it to a button that doesn’t do anything and change that in the game settings. Or make it another way to fire so if you accidentally hit it it fires. Just an idea
How do you only map 2 buttons on the back instead of 4. Is there a way to turn off them so they don’t do anything. Sounds dumb to do cause it’s kinda the reason to buy the controller cause it has 4 buttons but some games I only use 2 and I accidentally hit the other ones
You should be able to do that no issue. When I had an elite you could. You could always try a new profile and only map what you want.

Does anyone else struggle to hit the inner/smaller paddles? Something about their placement and the angle at which to press them is throwing me off.
it took me some getting used to. I had to adjust a little but you can touch the corner/ridges of those paddles and they will register making them easier to hit.

I have paddle 1 set to X, paddle 2 set to A, paddle 3 set to LB, and paddle 4 set to Y. If you look at the paddles they will have a P and the corresonding number on them.

I’d recommend u only tap it to the 4 buttons
Yeah they have to be mapped to an existing button but for example you can make one jump so you never have to leave the stick with ur thumb to jump stuff like that. I have one on the way for siege cuz you can drop shot and crouch spam (it’s cancer and everyone does it lol)

I am not sure of this. If you dont want the paddles Id honestly not waste your money on this particular controller. Maybe scuff has some others in their line up without paddles.
@@TheAlphaMale yeah I was using it yesterday on Season 3 and I think I’m a just return it. The triggers are great for FPS but I don’t use the paddles so I’ll just stick with my Xbox elite series 2 controller

@@epsilonchurch7186 I personally haven’t had any issues with stick drift. One of the issues I had on my elite was mushy bottoms but the scuff buttons are clicky and responsive.

I would try to reset the controller by taking out the batteries/battery pack and disconnecting it from your Xbox. If that doesn't work I would contact scuf support at sufgaming/support and I bet they can help you. I looked through the instructions and didn't see anything else. Let me know if this was helpful. @@bmwx5ful yes, hold the sync button on the top of the controller untill you feel it vibrate 2 times. it should unsync
