  • Lymphatic dry brushing promotes the superficial flow of the lymphatic system. In this video, Swedish Institute alumni and faculty member, Snow Shimazu, demonstrates dry brushing of the neck, arms and abdomen that you can easily perform on yourself at home.

    How does that work for someone who had their lymph nodes removed? I know the pooling of fluid can cause lymphedema on the side at risk.

      You can do a search for lymphatic brushing if no lymph nodes. I saw a video where they said to brush away from the area where there is no lymph node.

      @@jaeshasway I’ve finally started to do some dry brushing. I saw a video which showed me how to move it across the body from the side with no lymph nodes.

    I'm not sure the brush does any good does it I don't understand the brush technique I think you need more pressure

      It's kinda like exfoliating.. the brush removes dead skin cells.
