- Billy and Me is the story of iamaphoney, a very mysterious organisation that came to light through it's CZcams channel. In the beginning it was just a small series of video clips called The Rotten Apple series, but fast forward 8 years and we have a tight group of people who are interested in this stuff, an amazing documentary called TheWingedBeatle and mindblowing music from TheRightAlbum, which is a series of albums which is never finished, but keeps growing in size! We are still Looking Forward to the big reveal a.ka. TheRevelation, which was supposed to happen in 2012.
This documentary is made by MikeNL, a guy from the Netherlands who has been following this whole thing since the early beginnings in 2006. At the end is an amazing interview with Billy Martin, the creator of TheRottenApple series, TheRightAlbum and TheWingedBeatle movies! - Zábava

Oh wow, I didn’t know this existed. I think I was, for a moment following the same path of being obsessed with answers and digging, and anytime I researched I would be the only person interested enough and knowing more while everyone else disregarded this. I did not realize someone did all the hard work.
What I can tell is that the videos started out as if they were just trying to find anything, just the obvious clues, but then they started to notice patterns, and started editing their videos around these, subliminal and without context, for the viewer to decide. How ominous it all was, was part of the lure. Like a good show with no bang to end it off.

Interesting that the last album by John Lennon was called Double Fantasy and the last album by Harrison was titled Brainwashed. Interesting coincidence.

After the Revelation documentary failed to materialize and Martin Heurlin (iamaphoney) stopped making new videos, this subsequent interview seemed to me like the final nail in the coffin for Heurlin's credibility. Now, rewatching it a few years later, I still feel pretty much the same, though the door is open for a few different possibilities:
1. Heurlin is dangerously insane and truly believes both the "Paul is dead" conspiracy AND that he has personally played a part in it via totally imagined interactions with Neil Aspinall, Paul McCartney and this fictional "organization" he speaks of. Though he's undeniably odd, Heurlin seems lucid enough to me that I doubt this is the case.
2. Heurlin is a narcissistic opportunist who sought attention and notoriety, or simply just to screw with people, via the "Paul is dead" myth (that he never actually believed in) and has always been a one-man operation, with his claims of representing a larger organization being complete bullshit. I think this is the most likely scenario, and that it's safe to say the various "representatives" of iamaphoney that Mikey has interacted with were all Heurlin himself.
3. Heurlin worked with a group of people, comprising the "organization" he speaks of, who all sought to profit off the "Paul is dead" conspiracy but never actually had any ties to McCartney, Aspinall or anyone else. In this case, Huerlin's claim of "legal trouble" being the reason for the Revelation's delay could be true, as someone from the Beatles' camp may have taken notice and threatened legal action. This possibility seems unlikely to me, because everything that's been done under the "iamaphoney" name could easily have been made by one person, with no oversight or funding from a larger organization necessary.
4. Just for kicks, let's entertain the possibility that "iamaphoney" really was a secret project initiated by Neil Aspinall via a shady organization. First we'd have to ask what was the extent of McCartney's involvement. If he was involved, as Heurlin says, then why was the project a secret at all? If McCartney really were harboring some dark truth that he was ready to share with the world, wouldn't he just do it? Why bother with an under-the-radar viral marketing campaign that ultimately ran itself into the ground? So for this to be even remotely true, we'd have to assume McCartney wasn't involved. Additionally, if Heurlin had the money and resources of somebody as entrenched in the Beatles' inner circle as Aspinall, why wasn't he ever able to produce anything better or more substantive than he did? You'd think Aspinall's influence would get Heurlin better interviews than Emilio Lari (a random photographer) and Victor Spinetti (an actor the Beatles worked with a handful of times). Again, this possibility not only seems unlikely, but outright implausible.
Mandatory Creativity A very well written and lucid comment, a rarity on iamaphoney videos. I just wanted to add one thing: to me it’s clear that there is some kind of organization in this video. It seems that there were people in Berlin who had nothing to do with Martin.
I imagine the most realistic scenario is that there was some kind of Paul is Dead think tank at some point that discovered Martin’s videos early on and decided to finance him, there’s a video interview of him before he even embarked on making videos and he talked about getting funding for a documentary. So the think tank probably gave him access to Beatles archive videos and the means to interview those fairly low level people you mentioned, all information they collected on their own researching PID.
My question then would be: what is this think tank? Beaconfilms2011 blog made a fairly compelling case it could have been a small subsidiary of Neil Aspinall’s, but it’s not been proven.
Mandatory Creativity In addition to what I just wrote, that same video interview of Heurlin(titled ThePhoneyFigure on CZcams if you haven’t seen it) proves two more things: Heurlin isn’t insane and is a very lucid, albeit obsessed guy, and he genuinely at one point believed the theory. His career is in the entertainment business and he had a talent for making compelling videos from the very beginning, and his goal seemed to always be to make a documentary. I’m convinced he was given funding by some kind of think tank that incentivized the weird esoteric code language like “TheRevelAtion” and the suitcase videos. To what end I’m not sure.

I think the truth lies in a couple of your theories. As someone who’s followed this mess since the beginning, the very early (and I mean like 2006-2009) seemed to just be the makings of someone trying to kick off a Paul Is Dead ARG (maybe inspired by works like Marble Hornets). Things like TheRightAlbum and the suitcases doesn’t really come off to me like the same unhinged conspiracy theory content you’d normally see attached to this.
That being said
Who knows what the fuck TheRevelation was supposed to be. And now it just generally seems like the channel is just sort of grifting PID as a whole? Like it’s incredibly silly how in the year 2021 we’re still getting videos with the same “oh my god John says I buried Paul on Strawberry Fields!!!” even though we’ve known he doesn’t since the 90s.

I have to say at first I didn't understand any of what the Revelation had to tell me. Throughout the years of 'chasing the phoney', I've learned quite a lot, not just about PID but of other esoteric knowledge that was hidden for a very long time. Like Kokopelli, I followed the music and was tricked into truth and in using the words of a friend with a pat on the back- What a ride! Thank you for taking me home!

This explains how the Rotten Apple looked like a major big budget production because it was Faul himself funding it. The real Paul sings better, doesn't have to look at his bass when he plays, and is cute to the ladies. Wow...today I found the iamaphoney channel and watched all 5 parts of the winged Beatle. I had auto play on and this video came on. My mind is officially BLOWN!!! I knew about the Paul is dead conspiracy but never really gave it a 2nd thought. I had no idea there were so many clues and now looking at the photos of Paul and Faul...along with everything I've seen today...I have no doubt Paul was replaced. It feels like my head is about to explode lol!

Wow, what a story, Mikey! You've gone to such tremendous lenghts to research all of this! Bet you're going to remember this forever. Looking back, do you ever feel you were being played? What is the most important thing you've learned?
There were a couple of moments where i thought that all of this must be a complete joke, and that all of us were being played by one dude who was sitting in his moms basement or whatever. But those moments were very small. Too many things have happened on different kinds of levels that tell us that this is actually is real. And i am reminded of it daily! Everything is real behind the phoney.
iamaphoney awakened the flame inside me, to get real with myself. To live as i wish to live, and to be in control over it. But it is hard! It helped me lose a lot of fears and make me a true human being who is real. But nothing is real, as you know. Before, i was trying to live up to peoples expectations and examples. I am still working on some issues. But it is okay. I embrace them, and learn more day by day.

In the UNCUT special edition for Paul's 75th (and elsewhere probably), there is a bit about the McCartney album on page 8, where it confirms "...he (Paul) rattled through a few studio sessions in February 1970 at Abbey Road, checking in under the alias 'Billy Martin' to avoid prying eyes." - yet another "Billy" association.I guess he mixed his own first name with the Beatles producer's last name. The same name being used by iamaphoney Billy.

However it was misconstrued as him placing themselves as greater than,
which upset a lot of christians at the time.

Paul learned of Lennon death early in the morning and went to the studio for a quiet place to hide away and listen to music, but later in the day he realised he was basically a prisoner to all the press that had tracked him down and gathered outside. He didn't want to say anything to them, not yet anyway, but he had to get home! So in a total mess after a day crying and mourning and in shock he had to face those bastard presshounds and being Paul he didn't just dive in a car he spoke to them which was a mistake because he was devasted and could see the press couldn't give a shit as long as they get their story so he said an "off the cuff" remark which was to insult the press for their inhumanity but because most off the world don't seem to understand English he's been apologising explaining and taking back the comment ever since. I can see that he still needs to do that in some cases.

John was really not smart when he said this, no matter how he tried to explain it. He was actually very sorry, but the cow was already out of the barn. No one really needs to defend him or defile him anymore than the aftermath back then. They did learn their lesson.
He's gone now, but the powers that were over the Beatles took for granted how much influence the Beatles actually had over their fans. Not all of them were lemmings running off of the edges of cliffs.

Here's a thought .. what if Paul didn't die in a car crash? What if Paul was murdered? What if he was murdered and a double put in his place because the real Paul didn't want to go along with the plan the other three Beatles had for the future. What if the car crash was the red herring?

This video had been posted several years ago but at a certain point was no longer available. I'm sure of this because I watched it once, and when I came back to leave a comment it had disappeared. Even in the facebook page I wrote and I received a comment more or less saying that "some contents of the video were wrong so the video had been cancelled". I wonder then why it is available again and if it's the same version or a re-edited (maybe cut) version.
It's the same version, not re-edited or re-uploaded. It wasn't my choice to remove it. But then other people were uploading it and i told them i'd rather people watch it from the official version than a bad copy.

Also, youtube is now showing me an old conversatio we had at that time, which i even didn't remember in such details, and I thought it was on the facebook page. I was really keen on this story at that time, I had watched all videos and also read an interesting book by Glauco Cartocci (an italian writer and Beatles'fan) which made a great "resume" of the story with many alternative versions. But after that period.....No other clues, no other discussions, even the dedicated sites and forums seems to have very few news about it. Then what is tha status for your knowledge? Are you still looking for the truth or have you lost any hope that the story will be uncovered someway? Rotten Apple, RevelAtion, the suitcases with the secret clues, the Iamaphoney organization.....everything forgotten.

Thank you for the subtitles but honestly watching this video a lot of new questions come out to me.
1) At 24’35” you put in silence one word, I think he’s saying “Paul”, “one of Paul favourite games” but why did you do that?
2) The conversation is not continuous, there are a lot of interruptions, even….for a cigarette. I’m sure the chat has been much longer than this. Do I have to suppose that you have published only what Martin allowed you to publish, and that part of the conversation have been cut to prevent any trouble?

What do you think about my theory (see other message) about the possibility that the real Paul is behind the curtain, with an official double chosen by him to replace him in front of the audience, for example because he was seriously injured by the famous car accident. For me this is the only reason to explain why the family never claim about the truth, because nobody would accept, even if well paid, that your son or brother dies in silence while another pretends to be him for the rest of his life. This makes sense only if this was a Paul's decision, this could explain the silence of all people involved even now, and then I wonder what happened to make Faul to postpone the revelation: maybe real Paul died in 2012 and then Faul thinks there is no more reason to reveal anything?
P.S. I've just finished to listen the 2 CDs live, Back in the World and Live in New York. The voice look very different in this last one!!! Suggestion? Just the voice getting older? Or...another double?

The truth is that there are a few people that played the Paul role and he may have never existed. His father is constructed out of picture of him, the jazz band is rubber stamped. A couple of them came in and out through present. The small Paul never came back for anything after like 65. They all had doubles and I have a norwegian newspaper clip from 1964 that talks about it. They name them. The guy that played ringo back then died in 2010. On his online obituary a friend said "he loved to pretend to be Ringo". They paid girls to scream. They did not write Please Please Me or With the Beatles. A Mersey Beat paper clip says "The Beatles will be going to London to a record an LP at EMI studios with George Martin of songs that have been written for them". Other than that, I believe you all know the other things I know. I'm sure.

Sorry but although I speak english sufficiently, I'm not sure to have understood some points. At 19'58" I read that Neil Aspinall got killed in 2008, but I never heard any doubt about his death by cancer. Then I heard that Paul came back "transformed" from Africa, and even that Lennon is still alive somewhere. Did I get well or did I misunderstand these key points? (I hope a future version with subtitles anyway). Because all these points does not match with the classic "PID" theory (Paul dead in 1966 in car accident and replaced by William Campbell). Here it seems something more esotheric (which personally I can't believe at all), and more complicated in any case: honestly, I'm completely missing the whole picture. Putting together your comments and others that I read, I have some thoughts about it.
If Paul is a fake, he has no interest at all to reveal the truth, because what he did is against the law, he risks to go under trial and also to create serious issues to his sons and daughters. If the world has accepted this fake identity why should he say that he was a big liar?
At the same time, I sometimes think that the real Paul could be behind this story. If for any reason he had decided to send an official double in front of the audience, while maybe he's behind the curtain to write and sing songs, this could explain why neither the Paul's family has claim to know the truth: because if that happens for Paul's desire, they can also accept to take picture with a double, if necessary.
I wonder if Paul maybe really had that famour car accident and was seriously injured, so to prefer not to show his face to anybody. This could also explain the physical differences: the fake Paul would really exist, or even the real Paul could have had surgery to solve serious issues on his face (what if he has fake ears having lost his in the accident?). And what if the 2012 had been established as the moment of the revelation from the REAL Paul, and then he really died, so that the double is now the only one and there is no more reason to say the truth?
