- This is a video showcasing Shanks's moveset in Pirate Warriors 3. I left out the Special Attacks, since you can easily find those in other videos on CZcams. For the same reason, I only show the moveset itself, and not against actual enemies, unless the move is better demonstrated against enemies, such as grabs and grapples.
So his R1 action is interesting. Gameplay-wise, it slows down time for a split-second, and has no cooldown. It also adds a charge to his sword, signified by the red glow. When his sword has a charge, his next combo finisher that he does will have an enhanced/more pronounced effect, such as more damage. Even though his moveset isn't canon aside from Conqueror's Haki, he's one of the most badass and powerful characters in this game.

I love Shanks' character. Despite losing one arm, no one in the world wants the smoke with him, not even Kaido returned to Wano after encountering him. And still considered him among the new who can fight him. He's the embodiment of, "I can beat you with one arm tied behind my back". (And that is messed up for me to say).

Tbh i will be very shocked if shanks DOES have a special ability it seems more like he is the type of person who masters the basics and haki to just kick everyone's ass with them. As for df possibility i will effectively deny all of them mostly since he has always lived by the principle of NOT using a devil fruit. People talk about a time fruit= shanks conquerors haki and yes conquerors haki has been showed numerous times to possess something akin to this quality. Why did he have the gum gum fruit? Was likely gonna pawn it off to pay for sailing expenses (and their drinking tab XD). Wind cracking the sky in the brief clash against whitebeard= animation to show the strength of the sound wave of that clash (powerful characters clashing). Any more?lol point is Shanks' character is simple and i like that and i hate it when people repeatedly try to overcomplicate Shanks. He is powerful. He is basic for now live with it XD. This moveset is actually genius. I can't speak for if it comes through with pure visuals, but having just unlocked Shanks his moveset is perfect. It all seems like just a normal dude swinging a sword, but the hitboxes and damage are insane mixed in with enough pure haki to make him pretty much the defacto Conqueror's haki user. It's the exact opposite of Mihawk, the other character they had to make a completely original moveset for (whose moves are some of the most sleek and stylishly over-the-top in the game), and it's brilliant with how much it fits Shanks as this dude who is seemingly just "some guy" yet is clearly one of the most powerful characters.
This just in the game, so hype already wait for the anime 🔥
When rayleigh fought against Kazaru he was able to match his speed. I expect Shanks speed to be the same or even greater.

I wouldn't read too much into it. This is a video game from 2015, made by a pretty niche studio. I doubt the developers had that kind of foresight or insider information from Oda. They just probably thought the lightning effects looked cool.

When Shanks starts Emperor Walking, don't spam the square button, wait for him to take out his gun and quickly press square. If done correctly, Shanks will continue walking after firing. Repeat this method when he walks and he should be able to shoot 3 times in one combo.
Imagine if Shanks' power actually was to slow down time.

Funny how conqueror's coating was introduced as far back as 2015 with Shanks's playset in PW3, and conqueror's coating made its way to the manga/canon storyline 6 years later.
Either it's just a coincidence and Koei Tecmo just thought it looked cool, or Oda actually let these niche developers reveal a canon ability in a spinoff game (which I doubt).
@@DeeeFoo It's not a coincidence, PW4 also had a move and fighting style Kaido used in his dragon form that made its way to the manga a year later. It's the dragon twister move.

@@DeeeFoo I don't know if it's named, but I think it's one of his basic dragon moves used with pressing certain buttons in a sequence. I played PW4 on Xbox One and we have different buttons, so for you on PlayStation to summon his dragon twister move, it's ▢▢▢▢△△△.
@@S113Productions I played PW4 on PC, so we share the same buttons. Since the attack isn't named in the game, I'm hesitant to believe that it's the same attack used in the manga. Spinning around to create tornadoes is a pretty common move in Musou games. But I get what you're coming from, and it'd be cool if it was true.
