Hub rescue Vestas V80: GWO Advanced Rescue Training at Deutsche Windtechnik

Because of the cramped conditions and extreme height, the escape route is very difficult to access if an accident happens on a wind turbine. #RescueEquipment is also often difficult or impossible to use due to its size. In order to be able to react correctly in an emergency, the Deutsche Windtechnik Training Center develops rescue concepts that are specially designed for wind turbines. Using turbines installed on the ground, the Training Center provides optimal conditions to prepare our staff for the special challenges.
