Fun fact: Cops don`t like it when you escape from your handcuffs and then hand the cuffs back to them.
OneAngryGinger Of course cops don't like it when you remove the handcuffs off without their doing, it's considered resisting arrest in a way. A lady was once arrested for something (can't remember what) and managed to slip the cuffs off because they weren't tight enough. She took them off and was charged with resisting arrest, even though she told them they were loose and she could slip out of them (it was the act of removing the handcuffs that charged her with resisting arrest).

well, i was handcuffed to a bed post and a radiator, but they were real steel handcuffs. so she left me there for like 20 min, the radiator however had started to heat up.....
i still have the scars on my wrist (the radiator got really hot!)

I've never seen someone be that productive at work so far.
Mostly just makes me recognise how good Gavin is at filming.
Old school handcuffs can easily be picked using a zip tie or anything semi-strong and similar in width. Handcuffs, regardless of if they are old or new, cannot be picked with a paper clip. However, the early, (and I know this is super vague) new handcuffs can be picked with a pen cap.

I'm just gonna say how easy it is to pick handcuffs. I got bored on shift one night and handcuffed my self to the steering wheel of my patrol car and tried it with various items. The best thing is if you take an alligator clip like the office supply type, and pop the metal part out of the plastic. It works almost just like a key. Just pop it in and turn.
Been almost 2 years. Think it's time for more pranks with the handcuffs.
