- Here is an extremely simple takedown that I use often in newaza. Be warned, it only works if you capitalise on surprising your opponent and using your body weight to generate force.

Literally the first move I learned in Japanese jiu jitsu
Bro, there is no Japanese jiu-jitsu. There isn't even Brazilian jiu-jitsu. There is jiu-jitsu and there is judo. Everything else is just a marketing gag.
Sensei?can you grab in a competition the leg of the opponent?while you are both standing?or a penalty is given?
If it is IJF, you will be penalised. If it is WJF, it is allowed
