yeah so the story on this one is that it was 50 cents cheaper on eBay that it was at the store so I purchased it

Another great video. I own a autograph book that has all three Earnhardt signatures on one page. Ralph, Dale Sr original signature and Dale Jr. May not be as cool as this but I am pretty proud of it.

I remember seeing the hood and quarter panel of Dave’s Allison’s car at Bens house when I was a kid playing with His son. I also put that helmet on and pretended I was driving a race car. I kinda got in trouble for that one. Haha.

Damn, that’s a nice collection of all the pieces from these race cars! I remember Eric had one with Matt Kenseth’s 2018 #6 car and it was blue so it must’ve been a Wyndham Rewards car or something.

@7:40 That is from Jeff Gordon's 2000 car, not a late 90's car. Would have been late 2000 season to be exact due to the "Hasbro Sports" contingency decal (they used "Hasbro Interactive" in the early 2000 season instead), as it was only in use from late 2000 to early 2001. Also the "Aeroquip" contingency decal also helps date it to 2000, as it wasn't in use in 2001 (except one time I can document, as Terry Labonte weirdly used it instead of the all red one at the 2nd Dover race after 9/11).

I just realized that Kyle Busch is the only current driver with multiple championships.
Yep. Because championships are twice crapshoot now than they were 10 years ago, and 3x the crapshoot they were originally. It’s such a joke having a full season of racing be watered down to clusters of 3 races where a rainstorm or part failure can decide if a guy who was a top team all year gets eliminated by a mid-points level team. Really dumb.

He said the AJ Foyt piece was from '94 or '95 but that was the early 2000's lol
I can pretty much date that to being from the 2000 #14 car due to the contingency decals (the Aeroquip one is the big giveaway in allowing it to be dated). Either Mike Bliss or Rick Mast drove it depending on what part of the year that piece is from.
@6:16 sadly, he dated that from the wrong year. It isn't a '94-95 AJ Foyt car, but it's from AJ's 2000 team (which was his first season with Conseco sponsorship, and the Aeroquip contingency decal dates it to 2000 for sure). Either was driven by Mike Bliss, Dick Trickle, or Rick Mast, but 95% chance it was from one of Mast's cars.

Yep! That was my first one!

But what was special is that I had been a Mark Martin fan for 10 years at that time and it was his “fair well” tour, and with tears in my eyes I thought I was going to witness Mark get maybe his final win. But as we know Edwards passed him with just a few to go, and that might had been the last great performance from Roush Racing that night, all five cars finished up front. And that would make a good story for your Chanel, with BK coming on board maybe he’ll bring back that greatness Roush once had.
I admire your passion for the sport, I too have lived and breathed nascar. Now 43 and have watched every race for the last 30 years my passion isn’t quite as it used to be, but I do enjoy watching you and your friends break down the races and keep me up with the news. Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping the sport alive.
