I really wish Nespresso would add the sounds of the machines to their ads. The frother cleaning part will wake up your entire house, yet here is it completely silent.
Recipes prepared using a steam system, such as those of the Latissima line, tend to make a louder noise, but not to wake up everyone =)
An interesting alternative is Aeroccino, however, you'll have two options for preparing recipes with milk: one integrated into the machine, the other not.

I just received the Lattissima One for christmas, and the milk frother is not working at all, please help..
I find mine doesn't recognise skim milk. try semi or whole. or fool the machine by placing a post-it or tape over the small shiny sensor window underneath where the milk jug attaches

I have the Gran Lattisima and the manual confirms you can use milk substitutes such as the ones you have listed.

I bought this machine 2 weeks ago. When I make a cappuccino or a Latté it does not reach the edge of the glass. I use both the latté glass and the cappuccino glass from the Nespresso shop. I tried again after factory set. No different. I'm using full cream milk at 4 degree Celsius. Is there anything i'm missing here?
I am using an older model but the milk only frothed properly when I was using box milk (long life milk)
I believe you might look at resetting the amount of milk. Check the other tutorials or the manual. I had the same problem and I adjusted the amount.

It's good practice to preheat the cup you'll use. Fill it up with tap water and place it in the microwave oven for about a minute. This will make your cup hot to the touch, so be careful. After that, you can dispense the water and then use the machine to prepare your coffee in your now hot cup. This will make your coffee hotter than usual.
The cold cup can drop the overall temperature of the coffee when it touches the cup, hence the instructions above.
Can it prepare an Americano?
it can prepare lungo which is just like the americano.

Obviously if you can it means u can also make coffee late. Because I see capsules with flavors and don't see a good ol fashion black coffee.

When I choose to make cappuccino or macchiato the size of the coffee comes out only a small cup. The size of an espresso. How can I make my coffee large?
Thank you for your query. At factory settings these recipes do run the coffee at 40mL.
You are able to adjust the length of the different parts of the recipe for any given option by pressing and holding the relevant recipe button then releasing it when it reaches the length you desire. You will then need to press and hold the button again to adjust the second part of the recipe (either coffee or milk depending on the recipe) and finally a 3rd time to adjust the foam if running the Caffe Latte option. The machine will then remember that length the next time you come to use that button.

Hi Sherouk, this machine doesn't have programmable temperature options. If you've noticed a recent decrease in temperature we'd recommend descaling the machine.

Obviously, the CZcams admin doesn't know anything about his own company machine works, so no use asking them. A tip for you to make the milk frothier meaning more foam, don't use cold milk out of your fridge. Use milk that is in a normal room temp a bit more warmth to it. So that said you pour some milk and leave it to warm at room temp or slightly warm it up to about 30+ degrees celsius or 90+ Fahrenheit. You'll see the milk frothing gets bigger. and your coffee will get hotter too and not cold coffee.

This sprays and splurts water and milk everywhere. Drips liquid for ages after making a drink and is very messy to clean up. They should recall them all back because you have to spend 30mins to clean after every drink. Useless.
