Both are dope.... I own a fullsize g3 stainless.... However i also want a s&w sd9 or sd40 there dope and i hear nothing but good about both of these guns and my g3 is amazing 👍👌 nice firearms fam 🔥
Why does everyone feel like they have to safety check for their vids.. if you wanna rock a loaded weapon then do so. No one cares if your shit is unloaded or loaded
I own two guns myself. One is a Taurus G3 9mm, which was my first gun that I bought 3-4 years ago. I bought my second gun last year in September 2023, which is a Glock 17 9mm. I thought about trading my Taurus G3 for a 40 cal but certain people that I talked to told me to keep it. Im actually thinking about buying a S&W SD40 VE as my third gun later. I went to Academy the other day and held it and it seem really a great gun especially watching the videos. This is definitely my next one.
I have a SD40VE with a stainless steel guide rod and it works just fine and brings more trust that a plastic piece won't wear out or break when you need it.
I choose the SD40, mainly because of S&W customer service. If you problems with their guns they offer a lifetime support, because the take their reputation seriously.
If I'm buying a S&W it's going to be the M&P. The SD is good quality but that true needs so much work. The G3/G3c has a really decent trigger. Crisp break and short and crisp reset. Put a keep tinkering SA only trigger in it and it's very good. My M&P9 performance center reset isn't as good as the Taurus.
Bro I’m not even gonna lie I was about to pick up the 40 and do all the paperwork and everything but then I went somewhere else and I fell in love with that 9 I would really love to see better footage of you shooting both I got a couple days until I can pick the 9 up
I have an sd40ve. Never malfunctioned once in 800+ rounds. The trigger kinda sucks. But it does what it’s intended to do. I trust it more than my g2c which has a guide rod assembly failure At 400 round mark. Smith and Wesson also has a better warranty and faster turn around times. And s&w pays for next day air both ways. Taurus will make you pay for the shipping to Florida.
@@joes.7536 Maybe a word of advice? I bought mine brand spanking new, the first 100 rounds I put thru it was smooth. 180 grain. It seems after I stripped and cleaned it, EVERYTHING I put in there jams EVERYTIME 🤔. Its spotless on the inside, lubed, but consistently jams. Any advice would be useful. Thank u
W Watkins if you want I can make a quick video of some of the areas I polished to smooth things up. But I ran hundreds of rounds of it before I did that and never had a problem with it out of the box either

CZcams guidelines for Videos.
The sd40 has a hinge trigger safety. You have to pull the bottom half of the trigger in order for it to fire
I have a Taurus g3 new. I haven’t shot it yet, mine came with two 17 round magazines. I’m getting another firearm as well.

I have the g3 looking at the s&w..... are the handle lengths about the same???? I have bigger hands
Yeah they about the same with the g3 15rd magazine in. With the 17rd magazine in the g3 is longer.
Nice firearms bruh.. u from dc?

W Watkins it’s a pretty loosely built pistol just like a Glock 23. What kind of ammo are you using?
W Watkins I made a video a year ago. Mine has always run like this. czcams.com/video/rTpgvtYSEfk/video.html
