The greatest pop I've ever heard or seen was when Hogan kicked out of the Rock Bottom at WM X8 and he hulked up for the first time in 9 years in that company. The crowd did this sort of weird double pop that I've never experienced before. Unreal.

The answer to your question regarding Hogan losing 59lbs during his WCW debut was his cold turkey drop of the huge injectable testosterone during the Vince McMahon steroid trials. He had to be able to pass a steroid specific drug test at any time for an extended period of time. Someone that has been on a significant amount of exogenous testosterone for long periods of time, then halts that cold turkey will lose MASSIVE amounts of muscle and all around mass, this was the case in that time period, and it was HUGELY noticeable at that time!

You'e a fool. One man doesn't stop a union, if all the wrestlers wanted to unionise, it would have happened. And since Hogan, why didn't Austin and Rock start one, or Cena, or Roman Reigns? It's because NOBODY wants a union in wrestling. Blame Hogan all you want, its a cop out.

Hogan got a great match out of Warrior, got through a match with a crippled Andre, had amazing matches with Great Muta, Hansen and others in Japan. He was trained by Matsuda, he could be just as technical than Flair. The WWF crowds didn't want that style and finesse, they wanted the babyface brawler he became.

He wanted to be rich and famous didn't care a bit about wrestling where Hogan loved the business he just couldn't be a worker and he didn't have to be as we all know now he became a wrestling legend like flair Dusty Andre ect ect which were all great workers including Andre in his earlier days Andre was doing hip tosses and drop toe holds

@@dvlexotics2177 Again, wrestlers trained by Matsuda know how to work, Matsuda would not have completed training with someone who didn't, ergo, Hogan knows how to work. His AWA and WWWF work was completely different, do yo think Warrior, after 2 years could have a 30 minute match with Buckland??, I mean c'monnn lool He wasn't a worker because of the American fans who, to quote JR, loved the sizzle not the steak. Did Warrior have matches in Japan or ge invited over continually?, of course not because yo have to know 'how to work' to wrestle in Japan. Not to mention physically, if Hogan 'worked' like a smaller wrestler his career never would have been as long.

A lot of people want to say that Austin and the rock reached higher levels than Hogan did but what they fail to realize is they had a bigger platform to launch from then Hogan did . Had Hogan had everything available to him in the 1980s that those two had in the 2000s, Hogan would’ve been out of this universe. Hogan didn’t have the benefit of two live weekly shows every week. He didn’t have the benefit of 12 pay per views every month. If you wanted hulk hogan T-shirt you had to go to the arena to get it. If you want an Austin or rock T-shirt you could go on the Internet and get it. Hogans merchandise sales would’ve blew those two out of the water had he had all that available to him in the 80’s
